I think cross breeding is when you cross two different strains isn't it ? It should be more simple to cross this lowryder#1 as they are the same strain and I read that lowryder#1 is an stable strain

it would be kool as hell to make my or ur own cross.....I Wanna try.......I only have like 20 reg beans one set of 10 White Widow and 10 Purple Power maybe some lowryder #1 reg's still kicken around, I want a male but to get pollen from but idk if one of those 2 strains r whut I wanna use ya know......

Well real, If you have some regular seeds you could try to cross some WW male with a WW female and some purple power fem with a purple power male or puple with white widow, at least to try crossing something and get some experience on how to do it.

Hey everybody!! here is an update of the plants.

The female lowryder and the deimos are doing good even if the deimos hasn't show sex yet, it's taking too long but no much I can do so just waiting...

The last picture is of the new two lowryder seeds, looking forward to see some green leaves tomorrow

hey Lince good lookin plants ya got there....yeah I wanna cross the purple power with the white widow, but I want widow stone w the purple color gene though....how do ya think that would work. Ima try either way but.......idk if u have an idea please give me a thought

well, crossing for traits is not that easy, you will have to get information about the genetics of both strains you want to cross and probably cross several times. I'm trying to understand how that works right now, if you wanna read, check Mendelian inheritance, is the basics of genetics and a good way to start. This also looks like a good reading http://www.greenmanspage.com/guides/botany.html, I'm half way trough it now

Or you could also ask in the breeding forum Anyway, if you just cross it and grow the seeds you can see how it ends up You may get surprised of the results hehe

Here is a little history about what's going on with the plants

The Deimos finally showed the first pistils today at her day 27 which is a bit late. Apart from that, the Deimos is shorter than the Lowryder which is also weird because the deimos is supposed to be around 70-80cm while the Lowryder should be around 30cm. I guess time will tell. Everything else is looking good, I gave them today the first bio-bloom dosage and more will follow.

Also, I must say that I'm impress with the branching of both females. The branches of both plants are almost as tall as the main cola. I didn't know what to expect from the deimos but I thought the lowryder was gonna have very little branches and just a big bud in the main cola.

About the two new seeds, one opened the cotyledons today but the other seems to be twisted like the last one that died. I'm starting to think that the seeds must have some defect because this is not normal. We'll see if this one can make it in the following days.

No problem real. It's true that there are many things to learn about breeding but I also have to say that I have been breeding "randomly" for the last couple of years and the seeds I got gave me some nice plants/buds.

glad to hear ur having good luck.........sorry about the new one being twiztid.....not normal is right.......... question : can I take pollen from a male and put it on a female, hypotheticly get beans and then I plant em and see right??????or wrong???????? I know there r alot of better better ways to do this but I have limited option here......for now

What do you want to get out of it real ? it seems to me that you haven't got a clear Idea of what you want, and what you have to do and get depends entirely on it.

no not clear at all, but I have read quite a bit now and I think I will wait a while so my knolodge is not lacking in n e way...nah i want purple widow, but it is already in existance of course...lol I knew someone somewhere had already made that one.....I ordered the beans from the tude and hope i beans r fire

I was asking because the idea of the purple widow seem quite difficult but if you wanna have some fun/experience or whatever don't hesitate to cross the seeds you've got because you will definitely get some nice plants out of them. They may not be a new super cool strain but you may get a surprise. From one of my crosses I got a plant that was way better that her mam.

Hey guys, here's a picture of my new lady (hopefully), just transplanted her into the 4L pot and put her in the box with the other two girls. She seems to be growing slowly but hopefully she will catch up

Here is a shoot of the box right now:



In the back the lowryder#1 (right) and the deimos (left). In the front the new seedling. The rest of the space was for the lowryders but as they turned male I put the other two plants in the white round pots, one papaya and one blue hash (my own crosses) and I'll try to make them into mams. I've never had a mam before so I wanted to give it a go (looking forward to it) and hopefully it will also improve my cloning skills

Here is a picture of the last clone I have going lol not looking so good Not sure why this happened, if anybody has a clue let me know



the lowryder#1 and the deimos will turn 30 tomorrow so I'll have a big update with pictures tomorrow

I got them from a local store, it was a freebie coz I got the lowryders

WHut brand were they? I cant find alot on them...ok never mind I Had a filter on and I dont know y..now I can see it all.......
