People the world over do stupid shit, just saying. On my dead end street, which is lit up like a christmas tree, had some people move into house next door. They left their balcony door open on 2nd floor because they thought because foreigner lived next door and someone equal to "mayor" few doors down, people wouldnt fuck with it. 245 AM guy walks down street, sees door open, makes a few passes as per cameras, then climbs the tree in front of my house, hops onto their balcony, and helps himself to 5k dollars, and some jewelry, walks out unscathed, down the tree.

Vnsmkr gets it. There are a lot of people and friends that would say I'm paranoid. When in reality I'm a realist. A realist with a healthy obsession with really cool gadgets (did I mention I can see in the dark?)
Last year some fools dressed up as sheriffs and took a caregivers plants, gun drawn. Not to far away someone got shot over a $200 weed bill.
Just read a post on a FB group someone's plants were taken, the guy was even staying in a tent and his wife watched from their bedroom window. They just came in with overwhelming force. They got the plate number, the guy is in the National Guard and works for a large construction firm. He just threw it all away for a quick buck.
So I alter my lifestyle for a month and a half. The wife and I still have lots of time together every day. In the end it's all worth it.

You don't need pressure treated framing lumber, only the sill plate next to the concrete. And, anything below ground. Moisture is what rots it. You also run the risk of off-gassing chemicals if you use it above ground. Just a fyi.
