*Making Hash With Your Trimmings For Free! Using Basic HouseHold Items*

I had these leaves that a friend gave to me in a box that you get a suit in and they gave it to me last summer. I put them once into the freezer then back in the box until I read your post. I don't know if the leaves were any good or not but did everything you said to do and am now waiting for the water to drain. Now before I do anything more what I did was cut a hole into a coffee container lid and put the paper filter in then put the lid on so I wouldn't have to hold it but it would still be supported and I had a lot of leaves and the paper is green but the water well it looks like coffee same color as coffee gross I know. So I guess my question is should I just chuck everything? Is it no good anymore?

Heyy waddup everyone. Damn. Been years since I've been on here. Glad to see people are still using this guide. =) I haven't grown anything in a while. But am planning on starting a few new seeds.

As far as what you'll get for a yield from an ounce depends on alot of factors. Such as what your using to make it. The quality of the trim. How long you mix i . Etc. A rough guide to go by is about 10%... I think it's 10% anyways. About 10 grams will give you 1 gram of good hash. But like I said. It depends on alot of factors. Good luck bro

Thanks man good method, definitely the best, most inexpensive way to make solventless extract.

The best way of making hash fast and ending with a decent end product is put a bubble bag the 220 mc one,over a tub that the bag fits over.

Or buy some screen 220 and 120 cheap has chips,tie it around the tub the 220 one first,make sure its tight bags are better for this make sure it taught place the sugar leaf on top then use black and white polly over the top tie this on make sure its taught then beat it,with a piece of old horse pipe,the thc that falls through the 220 is pretty good,and will press together,and be sticky,or for finer real good heads use the 120 mc.,make sure the sugar leaf is dry,and works better if its put in the freezer,for a day or so.

It dep,on the strain some of the strains i use have big head's like the jack herer strain i have,same has the blue's livers ,seems to have bigger heads then say,blueberry or cheese.All the strains have massive thc production but i'm talking about the head size


I do this this if i am in a rush and after a bit of med's fast,but normally run it through all my bags,

This is the way that i make oil for vaping,and it all ways come's out pretty good,The oil i make has made many of my so called hard core smokers green

So I know this is an old thread but newbies like myself obviously still use it so here is my wife's improvement on this method... She started with about 10 grams of trim and did your process 3 times instead of only 2. The 1st run gave her .92 gram the 2nd run yielded .72 & the 3rd yielded .51 and if you take a bright light you can still see trichs on the leaves so now she is going to make butter with those used trimmings and the stalks (we'll see how those turn out) but back to her improvement. So as everyone knows who has used this method, the last step with the paper coffee filter takes forever. My wife put the paper coffee filter on a plastic jar and made hole in the plastic container, then put a straw in the hole. So you can gently suck the straw and it causes the water to drain MUCH faster. The first time the process took a while the 2nd & 3rd time the process took 1/3rd of the time.I noticed each time she processed the trim the water color was lighter and lighter but still got a worthy amount. Thanks for this idea, it's perfect for small growers like me. We only had 6 small (under 20 inches) plants and she only processed the trim from half the plants so far, the last 3 plants are ready to process today.

Great "how to" thread! It's interesting to read the different variations as well. I'll definitely have to try this when I accumulate a decent amount of trim.

Just finished a lb of sugar leaf ,and a few bottom bud's. Ended up with just over a oz of good blond hash from it,did it the old school Moroccan way beating it through the ,78 MC screen.

You don't have to have much trim to try it, the original poster only used the trim from 1 plant. I used the trim from 3 but they were very small plants and I got over 2 grams of bubble hash plus I got a gram of scissor hash from doing the trim. With the bubble hash it's sooo strong a gram is worth the time and effort. I've been an everyday smoker for 16 years and 2 hits of the bubble hash is a huge head high. Good luck to you!

I'd rather save up a little more and process less often. I'm planning on staggered grows, 1 plant at a time, so I'll probably process my trim every other harvest.

buy a 120 and a 72 mc bubble bag and beat the trim over the 120 to start with,its easy just put a bowl inside the bag and tie it off tight,then put your trim,on top of the bag and use a black bag the thicker the better over the bud tie that of then just beat it not to hard though or you will get more comtiam's falling through the screen,just you tube Moroccan hash making,its by far the easiest way to get a decent product,i even do the old school rapping in cling film then wet news paper then in the cooker for 10 mins on 175 dg.I do this about 4/5 times the end product is a blond color,sometimes it will have a tinge of green to it but its still a nice smoke

Keep the old school ways of getting hash alive ,by doing it at least once while your growing,I say use the 120 mc,because if you have not much trim then you will get a better return,i use the 72 mc you get less but its far better quality,That's not saying the 120 is bad quality because its pretty good hash long has you don't beat too hard or for too long.

Damn, thanks for sharing this method, I've switched to it actually and I'm just waiting for the trichomes to settle in their glass jars. I've also saved the soup and I'm going to try it again to see if there will be any trichs left.

I've also used the same amount of clippings as Tokin' so I'm eager to compare the final result.

I could of done something wrong, but I got 6,5g out of the same amount of clippings... I'll take that. And that was just from my first batch, got a few more coming.

That's a lot of fucking around .... buy a fine mesh bag , dump the frozen weed from freezer into the bag , shake the bag onto a flat surface , use a credit card or such to scoop up the fallen particles and bada bing you have KIEF.... better than hash and it comes out dry ready to enjoy P.S> you can buy the bag for the price of a couple bags of ice and no massive clean up

I second this, but I use dry ice inside my 190 micron bag while I shake. After that, card it all up and put in 37 micron bags from rosin revolution and press in a hair straightener between parchment paper. Taa daa! You have dabbable rosin

Edit: also the returns from this method are much better than what I'm seeing a lot of you guys get from the poor mans tech.

Im so glad i found this!! I have more than a pound of super frosty trim and very little small buds, i will be using rhis method!!!!
