a good start would be to raise the stagnant minimum wage and those 'cronies' who are fighting against..because trickle down, job creators need to start paying and stop shifting the burden onto middle and lower classes as they've been doing. see mcd et al.

Damn shame about that USSR experience. Guessing you're stronger for it now. Absolutely I don't know the hardships of such corrupt communism. Very blessed you are to have escaped. It is common for the ignorante here in america to idolize communism based on the notion "it works perfectly in theory." and i agree....on paper and in theory its rock solid. the problem is the corruption in all men. same could be said for other forms. im all for a safety net, how big of a net you need, is the next question. that's where the debate begins.

That's an incomplete definition and a bit misleading. One definition of property is it's something a person owns because they mixed their labor with a natural resource and made something. It is conceivable that a person could do that in the absence of government.

In fact "government" is more often the enabling force behind the encapture of property rather than the liberation or protection of it.

Have you figured out in your false dichotomous laden world how a government can claim to be by the consent of "the people" when the people that were alleged to have consented to the form of government all lived 250 years ago and are dead now? How can people that lived hundreds of years ago provide consent for people that weren't even born yet?

How many people alive today were ever asked if they approved of the present form of government? How many children yet to be born consented to the monetary debt they will be assuming, which occurred without their consent?
