We've corrupted a few souls in those Ice Derby days. The Hasidic Brother in Law of someone, the 2 FLA deputies who never seen ice,the waitresses who thought we were the Rockefeller offspring, and the guy we told that a Ford could never cross an ice ridge (only jeeps!)
The Warden's wife had to come get him one time, she was pissed!. We threw firecrackers and snowballs at him accidentally and convinced him those burn marks will wash out, have a beer..He was drunk, burned, a black eye and maybe under drugs when she got him back.

When I was up there the guys across the lake ended up burning furniture in the fireplace. I'm betting one of those chairs cost more than I made in a month of Navying.

Those are old King's Land Grants to British Officers, those lands up there, and that's another reason land in NH isn't cheap.
All old money, they all have hedge funds in Boston. They like paying no state income tax.

Haha, thought a bit more..prime targets for buying larfy bud at high prices. Hope all the larf bud from ME gets dumped on their boutique shops when they go legal. That definitely a place for a weed shop.

Than learn to grow better and adapt to the market. To be successful you need to adapt with the trend . This isn’t 1996 any more . Plenty of opportunity for people out there doing rec in states like Oregon. Even if olcc are idiots .

Great thread. Sorry I have nothing to contribute as I’m a limey. I do like the sound of Maine, we have 90 million people living in an area the size of Washington state.

I would love to move to Ecuador. Got talked into coming back here to grow for what I was told was going to be a legal licensed grow.

Long story short the financier was on the run here and never intended to go legal. He still has 4 felony warrants and a misdemeanor for attempting to flee through the Yukon. He drove all night probably smoking crack, shipped his vehicle to Washington and flew to Mexico.

Meanwhile here I am with no VA anywhere nearby , on fucking Social Security with bad teeth and a worse attitude and we have Donald "Draft Dodger" Trump is our Prez. Grrrr.

the VA won't do dental unless you're %100 or a P.O.W. = LAME... i'm not %100 yet and need dental work done myself. I feel your pain, even about that BS financier. Been there.
We'd totally move to another country again too.

No shortage of money at the big ops here in Maine
I just got our company in at another big grow today, 1k initially and 8-10k more work for another division.
Just drove by, and a guy flagged me down. Another old mill with 16 ft ceilings being converted to grow.
And they want to pay cash today, what more can you want from a customer who tips you with cookies?

Now try to coordinate work with 10 stoned growers. Welcome to the new pot business, just like the old business.
They will forget appointments & lose your business cards too, always give them 2.

I don't miss appointments or lose business cards, I don't look like a hippy, and having the best finished product responsibly grown is what I do. All while medicated. I have tools and build great grows, unfuck bad grows, and work extra hard to never have a BS crop because its ALL I do.. if we fail we don't eat, and we eat well. Haul water. Every drop. Very common here. Outhouse too. Hit -60 winter before last. Went to go to the outhouse and my boots cracked. Only good to -40. Last winter never got colder than -50. Shot a raiding black bear from my front stoop 25' feet away last month. Still filling out paperwork because I was too dumb to just buy a license for everything. Have to kill it at least not have to report it. Moose are vicious when they want to be. Grizzlies.

I could kick Arnie's ass the motherfucker.

Edit: got boots now good to -148. How they got that figure is beyond me but they are nice! Baffin Polar Proven. Screw Sorel or LaCrosse Pacs . Heavy.
