Awesome. Lot of amber I see. Very cool.
Thanks, that Ice Water", was a freebie from Crockett Family Farms. It was also a tester, and very little, to no info is available. It's a cross of Purple Ice Water x Banana Sherbet. That's all the description said. It has been a stellar plant the entire grow process. It finished in 63 days on this run. I'm hoping it's a keeper, because it's easy to grow and virtually no one has it.

Yes things are getting fun. Plants are exploding with growth. 47 days in I think I remember plants around 14 inches round and high. Thanks. I'm glad to have you follow along. I might run into a snag or issue. Be nice to have someone chime in as needed.

Grow well
Admitedly, I don't know much about hydro, or RWDC.
I grow in an inert grow medium of peat/coco though, so my ph and feed requirements are similar. I will help if, and when I can. :joint:

I tried running a little "staging area", for flowering plants. I overcrowded the tent this first run, and now I have plants a bit staged out better, and my "little perpetual", should be timing out better. I've got a couple interesting landrace/crosses in the back.

The Columbian X Skunk cross and the African Malawi are both from Ace seeds.
They finished stretching recently and I'm surprised by the bud stacking this early on the Columbian cross. I topped it a few times before I put in 12/12. It doesn't feel like a 12-14 week finisher, but it's early yet.

Thank you for the kind words :peace:
I grew for years, then left Colorado in 2016 and spent 8 years on a guest ranch in Wyoming. It wasn't good for growing!
I just retired, bought a house west of Cleveland, and fired things up. My wife grew up in Cleveland, Old Brooklyn, so we have family here in Ohio.
This is actually my first harvest in 8 years. I collected and saved seeds over these past years and followed current and classic strains, I have a good seed collection. I've been waiting to fire them up!

Is there an Ohio group somewhere?

Ice Water is getting chopped today.
I'm also chopping a King Louis VIII, I have outside in a bucket. I've been moving it in and out of the shed for 9 weeks to force bloom cycle. I bring it out at 7:00 am and put it in at 7:00 pm every night. I'm glad that is finally done. My tent seemed too crowded a couple months ago, so I threw it outside and forced flowering.

Here is the ice water today. I also included a pic of the trichs.

Today I took the Boss Hogg #2 out of the tent for harvest.
I added the next strain into flower. Its another Ice Water. I REALLY need those supplemental verticals strip lights. I ordered them 10 days ago, and their still in transit. I will be adding 4' bloom strip lights to all four corners. I expect good things from those.
Here is todays configuration in the flowering tent.

The strains in the tent are Malawi, Columbian x Skunk, Boss Hogg #1, Ice Water, and Shiva Skunk. The perpetual is starting to get going. These plants are 1-4 weeks apart, and were added at separate times.

I really like that staggered grow. We do love the flower stage. Keepin it rolling like that is awesome.

Curious about them strip lights. What exactly did ya get? What's the specs on them? Have ya seen others with good results?

I got these.
I tried some T5, four footer, single strips on one side of the tent for a couple weeks, and the plants actually reached for them.
I read a few reviews and the specs, diodes, and such, look good. I'm using the same red ones in my overhead, Mars TS 3000 right now. That 440 watt full spectrum with deep red really works good in my 5x5, but I have a PPF meter, and it fades quick, on the sides.

I will say, I like the Mars products, including the newer, app controlled fixtures. So far, all the equipment I'm running came from them, and I'm getting good results. I even have their carbon scrubber and the charcoal that came with it is good.

Yeah, light drops off quick. That's the main reason I spread plants out wide. Try n capture all the big lamp can offer.

I just did an upgrade. Added 600w to the 4x8. Now I'm throwing 1100w at them all together. They seem to be loving it.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they help. Ya definitely need more light in that big 5x5.
