michigan card delays

I've done 3 runs now .... each one getting better.

I had to go lay down the other night after smoking some bubble. I usually take 2-3 hits and put it down, but I was feeling ambitious and took about 6 good rips off of it. Man, I was fucked!! The room was spinning, catching trails, the whole 9 yards. Lesson learned!
Man, that is great! I am ready to bust that shit out right now. I got some tincture going too, finally.

INFORMATION BULLETINOn or about February 15, 2012, the Michigan Medical Marihuana
Registry Program will be sending out “NOTICE OF APPROVAL” letters
to qualifying patients who have submitted a valid original or renewal
application prior to December 31, 2011 and have not yet received their
Medical Marihuana Registry cards. If the qualifying patient has
designated a primary caregiver, they will also be receiving a “NOTICE
OF APPROVAL” letter. This letter provides notice that the patient or
caregiver registry card has been approved.
The letter will:
 Identify the person by name
 Identify whether the person is a Qualifying Patient or Caregiver
 Provide the Patient or Caregiver Registry Identification Number
 State the Issue Date
 State the Expiration Date
 State whether or not the person is allowed to possess marihuana
plants
 Indicate the name of the designated caregiver (if applicable)
 Indicate the name of the qualifying patient to whom the caregiver
is connected
The NOTICE OF APPROVAL letters should not be copied as any copies
of the letters are VOID.
Law enforcement officials and prosecuting attorneys have also been
provided with this information.

TY, you are correct.

yes, the NEW paper is a Authorization letter only, until the hard card comes. The intent is to clear up to LEO if someone is infact accepted or denied to the registry. the copies of paperwork, while legal, gave LEO no way to verify them. THUS LARA, decided to issue an Authorization OR a Denial letter for EVERY application sent it. If the App is accepted and Authorized, the Check is cashed. The Depositing of the Money into the State fund, then initiates the generation of the Approval letter, and the card. the Approval letter, like the denial letter, SHOULD get to you with in 21 days of the Dept. accepting the application. If there is an issue with the App, the app is entered to another system, which generates the denial letter, and the check is put to the side. This is info given directly by the head of LARA in one of here "Statements". Look it up, I have and read it, do your own footwork bob.

the WHOLE Approval process is generated From the Check being deposited. If the Check is Cashed, you HAVE BEEN APPROVED.

now the new approval letters have your Registry ID number on it, which LEO can use to contact LARA to Registry Program verification, just like they would do if you had your card. but due to the printer crises, they are still behind.

Yes it would appear a few things were taken into account. they actually mentioned info on growing outside, which was presented by the PEOPLE. Not one Organization spoke of outside grows that i can recall, but more than a few Citizens made note of it.

But. this is just out of committee, and now off to the floor. we will see what comes of them.
Im not Chicken Little as bob halarrious would have you believe. but i have not rose colored glasses on, when it comes to our government, especially the current ones in both the Federal and State, and in many cases Local Levels, and how they want to make us all 4.00/hr whores with 10.00/gal gas and milk....

If you dont stand up with me, we cant help protect each other. and that is a fact of modern government.
Thanks for clarifying that. I know that in the past, people were getting their checks cashed and then getting a denial letter shortly after. Glad to see they have fixed that problem.

Can you make tincture by just dissolving some BHO in a vile of everclear? I know there are other methods but I figure that would be the most potent...

I am trying to stay away from the butane and other chemical extractions (besides alcohol). I will probably switch to the vegetable glycerin by summer.

Butane is a pretty safe solvent to use isn't it? I'd imagine butane is safer than alcohol when using a quality 5x filtered brand & purging any remaining butane that's leftover. I did make some pretty killer organic hash caps from badkats recipe using coconut oil so solvents aren't particularly necessary to get quality oil but I think both methods offer a different buzz.
