MMPR Grow op: Small Scale

thanks kron, still digesting what you said and trying to read some of the link. 139 pages of the dryest reading available. This will take me awhile. lol.

Especially since it is just a supplementary text to the international pharmacopoeia. That being said, you dont really need to read the whole thing. I just posted it in regards to the sampling information. I think it says you need a 100-200g composite sample for flowers. I think the European and British Pharmacopoeias recommend 250g.

Before I cringe over that fact, is that wet weight or dry? Final product? Does it say?

Plus that "51 grow ops" thing was proven to be false months ago. Sir ganga obviously hasn't been keeping up to date with things even though he talks outta of his ass like he is. Lots of misinformation from him regarding MMPR lately. The worst part is he acts like his misinformation are facts rather than his own opinions. Easy to see how rumours get started that's for sure.
Alright people...its your energy...go for it! Best of luck...for sure...but anyone that has not read the changes or can't understand them should get themselves a lawyer and have them go over it with you. There are so many interpretations of the facts that a smart man would hire a lawyer.....Well just like I did . Maybe if you spend the $500 on a decent lawyer you would understand and he can hold your hand while the government bends you over. Honestly...I won't even say I told you so next year.
Hes also telling people in another thread people who rent cant grow in there "primary residence" Real good way of fucking people over in my opinion
Did I say they can't? If I can remember right I only said that if your property is rented you have to ask for permission to alter HIS property. This has nothing to do with HC...but your head is so far up your ass you got to come on other threads and spout shit about the guy that "has a clue"

If your saying its going to be almost impossible for the everyday person to get a license, that the gov has set this program up so that only large corporation or people with really deep pockets will be the only ones that could possible meet the guidelines let alone the cost. I've been trying to tell people this since the beginning but oh no everyone said you could go small scale and this and that it won't cost that much, I tried telling them but no one would listen so I stopped coming around cause its not nice to kill people dreams and maybe some people around here do have the funds and connections you'd need to be accepted anyways I think thats kind of what your saying if not could you explain "I wont even say I told you so"

I think your lawyer just told you what you wanted to hear and took your money, cause mine asked me when he could invest...

The only thing I dont get is they expect people to go invest all this money then apply right or wrong ? if so what if you dont get approved, or do you just have to come up with a solid business plan with blue prints and all that fun stuff ?

All you need at first is a solid plan. Before they look at your LP application, they will run your security clearance. If you have already begun construction of your operation and your security clearance is denied, then you have wasted your time and money.

If you obtain the clearance but your plan doesn't make the grade, then they will advise you to make changes or additions. So in that case your plan will cost more but your still in the running.

My lawyer told me to just do the opposite of whatever Sir.Ganga says and things will likely work out pretty good.

It would be the final dried and processed product. Depending on how you store/package, you could justify sampling from a bulk container (if you package on demand) or from several packages (if you pre-package). It basically means that from each batch, you will lose about a QP for testing; obviously there is a critical minimum batch size needed to be economically feasible, which will depend on a number of factors. I think that moral of the story is that the operation has to be a sufficient size in order to be realistic, the question is what that size is...

I don't really see giving up a QP per batch as much of big deal. I already give a pound a month to my patient now.

What kind of security clearance do they need? I plan to run the operation myself(other than QA stuff) and I have no criminal record. Would that suffice or do they need something else?

Here's something, each batch would mean every strain? Because every strain will have different content. Ho momma, time to double the plan. I'm still waiting to hear back from the testing company I contacted though.

Hey guys!

I've read the entire thread here today, and wanted to take a second to introduce myself, contribute to everyone's progress, and potentially find other interested partners in the southern Ontario region.

A member of my family is very supportive of this endeavor of mine, and is willing to put up some capital for me to eventually begin an operation of my own/partner with someone else.

Additionally, my mother is a QA professional and has been in the food industry for over 30 years, currently holding a Vice President title and is more than willing to contribute to my success in anyway she can. Perhaps once things are a bit more clear, she could become of great help to some of us.

I recently graduated from arguably the best business school in Canada, and so I am quite competent and serious about succeeding in this venture, government douchey-ness permitting.

Was great to meet like-minded individuals via reading this thread. :)

The security clearance determines if your eligible or not. If you have no criminal record or no ties to organized crime, your good.

The way I interpreted the main application form is that the security clearance is 100% MANDATORY; the point of it is to validate your clean record.

Redi Jedi is correct in saying that if you have a clean record, then you're good to go! But you still have to file the security clearance forms.
