I some ways I appreciate the ideas behind genetical engineering but the cons outweigh the benefits. Nobody is going to put the money, time and effort into changing the DNA if its not for profit. Profit can come from market control or quality control. It's neither mutually beneficial nor safe in my opinion. I don't think we need to alter it(cannabis) any further than what it is. We already cross strains, feminize seeds, grow hydro/aeroponically, and create highly concentrated nutrients. What more needs to be done?

Well friend, I should preface by stating that 'if' your post was in response to my last post then either you have some fatal misunderstanding of something I wrote, or you have somehow rocketed into some very grand and wildly inaccurate/incorrect and or miss-targeted assumptions about what I know or don't know...I can only hope it is the first scenario that applies here because that which you speak to I learned before I was 18, I'm 49 now so maybe you can imagine the kinds of things I've learned or experienced since then. Glad we are 'on the same team' if that is the case, but one might do well to know your team better before calling such an unjustified and or invalid play<3 :peace:

people only think those little pieces of paper are 'worth' anything---

hopefully all the new cannabis laws will help folks wake up and raise the vibration--

imagine what will happen when everyone wakes up and realizes that paper is worth the same as toilet paper....0-

personally I find toilet paper to be worth more than money....especially when I'm deep in the woods alone-:joint:

But the thread lives on and so does the poll, and with regards to the viability of the poll, originally we had hoped for at least 100 votes for a viable sample of how RIU members generally feel about GE/GM cannabis, but now that 143 have voted this sample can be doubly viable if we can reach 200 votes...so why not give it a shot, who knows what might help make a difference in this weary world.:leaf:
