thanks for postin this! i told people about this before n they all were talkin shit sayin i didnt know wat i was talkin bout lol but yu have proof so ima send people to read this. but yea, i did it in november cuz i just put a seedling outside for the hell of it to see if it would grow but it was too cold n not enought sun then i setup a 1000 watt inside n brought it in and i had the same results. i still got the plant n its at a friends house in the ground. ill post a pic as soon as i upload them to the computer

Nice plant - would have loooved to see it before harvest - how far down all those branches the buds went etc. Great stuff - im going to try it too! - thanks for sharing.

so a friend of mine cut a few clones about a month ago that already had nice buds on em. i had no clue if the plants were even going to survive then within about 2-3 weeks i noticed this weird branching just like yours look. He has a GDP plant that is monster cropped and it is amazing the yeild he is going to get off a plant that is supposedly a small yeilder.

after seeing the results from his i decided to do the same. the clones were about 3 weeks in to flower when they were cut. i have nyc diesel, golden goat, some cough strain and cheese. now that i know about this technique it is the only way to go.

Listen to what this guy says cause its a brilliant technique and needs to be experimented by more of us fellow growers wanting a great yeild and awesome looking plant!!!

I have two bubblegum with preflowers I'm waiting on, being that I'm going to be making a whole new setup and start a new grow well before it was going to be done, if they turn out female I'm going to try this and force them back into veg, that way when I get done with the first grow with the new setup I'll have mommies to clone from...(they were both started 12/12 from seeds, so as are won't have much branch to clone otherwise...)

I tried this techinque, 21 days into flower. It only took a week for roots to show, took another two weeks before I saw vertical growth. I plan to take clones at week 6 next time, gives my plants enough time for rooting and harvest seeing how you gots to change back to 18/6 lighting.

i really want to do this but i am working with a small space and a strict schedule for perpetual harvest and waiting to take clones would screw it all up

Did it with KandyKush 58 days in. Rooted in about 10 days and took another 5-7 to show some growth, still very small but I have a feeling it wont be for long :)

Sorry to break the news, but this method has been in use for many years in large scale commercial opps, but only as a means to provide large numbers of ideal sized cuttings in a much shorter time than growing monster mothers.
There is no benefit to ever flowering one of these girls, and many reasons that it is a bad idea. You can achieve what I think that you are shooting for in a much more timely fashion by pinching and pruning.
If you need a mountain of clones in a short period of time this is the way to go.
If anyone is interested I will explain in more detail. Hope this helps.

I beg to differ. If you haven't looked around at some of the grows on here from people who have done it, you might want to check it out. The grows are definitely worth trying. I'm not saying you are totally in the wrong, but you aren't totally in the right either.
