My 1st organic grow... pics & setup!

Any vids, pics, random thoughts are always welcome on my journal, I am not trying to make a neat journal for future reference, it's just for everyone to see and have a good time.

You got a nice grow space!!plants are looking healthy, no cropping/lsting on the plant in the left corner? any reason for this? hoping for a nice big bud hehe? Which plant is kind of yellowing? my Blue Mystic is turning yellow like this plant but not quite as bad yet, dunno why. As long as the buds keep growing and it doesnt get out of control I guess I won't do anything about it.

I just gave em a nice tea yesterday, I will probably give them a last one around the 30th, depending on how far from harvest I seem to be.

When you say soiless do you mean hydroponic or aeroponic or something else? Like I said in my LED journal in my signature, I had a test smoke of the SLH last night and it tasted so good, I can't see myself trying to grow any other way than in good old fashion organic soil.

thanks man , yeah the tall G-bomb plant has been on 12/12 a week , i now have 7.5ft in this tent and alot more width , i intend to grow taller single cola plant's in this room , it's just the rest are not finished vegging yet , the other G-bomb bush , the 3 BM's will go back to there area's when the other plants are ready, The yellowing plant is in coco and in week 8 flush, new years day smoke , i always get yellowing off late flowering when growing in coco and using canna nutes,

I have decided to go soiless mainly because i want a product i can re-use , and is alot simpler to move about ,i am using 85% cellmax growing cubes and 15% Hydroleca pebbles, Also i am going to try "passive hydroponics" which is pretty much adding water/nutes to a tray that the pot is sitting in , the idea is that the medium takes the liquid passively and allowing more air to run through the medium, i got the idea from SoftSecrets uk issue 5 " passive hydro"

Is floranova bloom organic? I've used it before with good results but I didn't know it was organic. Why do you feel you need it?

It is a good product IMO but not necessary if you hit all the bases with your amendments.

Enduro , how is it , ok so i dumped on those BM's if you remember a while back, 5 nirvana femmed beans , vegged 4 single cola and 1 i topped(this turned out pants aswell), anyway after binning them , i then decided to take 2 clones off the best single cola female, topped them , worked with them a lil, better soil , less and better nutes etc , i came to the conclusion maybe it was something i did wrong , also they are now under 1350w rather than 600w another 600hps and 150hps have been added(grow room was extended , also my ac unit flow is now more direct into the bloom room , here they are ..........

They seem to be holding a better darker green this time , i changed from canna pk13/14 to terra flores , difference being the 2.7% N.

ok!!! just took a bunch of pics so you guys can see where I am at!! The buds look bigger on the pictures... things are going well non the less. I put my hand and a ph meter to give you an idea of the actual size, still looks bigger on the pics though hehe.

I gave em a strong tea last night because the AK as been losing a ton of leaves. According to the breeders, the AK will be ready around January 9th, the grapefruit on the 10th, and the BM around the 13th or so... I will probably let them all grow until the 15th then harvest them all at once, I will try to squeeze another small crop before my growing season is over. That is why I got a few Chemos coming up!!

tea: made of flora nova bloom not quite full strength, molasse, liquid kelp, 1 tsp sea minerals fertilizer, 4 tsp epsom salt, 1 tsp effective microorganism... I don't know what I am doing but that tea was really nice and foamy, one of my best so far!

I was trying to upload a picture that wouldnt be a thumbnail but it's not working, I am giving up. Mr west explained it to me in a pm but it doesnt seem to work. I just wanted to upload the 2-3 pictures with all the frost and make em full size right away...

Upload it as a thumbnail and then click on the thumbnail. One it opens right click and select copy image location. Next edit your post and hit the image button but choose to upload from a URL and to NOT have it stored/referenced locally. If you upload your pictures to a picture hosting website you can skip the initial upload from computer step and just upload via URL, again don't have the pic stored/referenced locally.

Hope you don't mine me posting a few of yours. Let me know if you figure it out and I'll remove them from my post so you can add to your post.

Hey Enduro man , that is some dank looking sweet n sour , great pics man , the big picture thing , i cant work it out either , im like an I.T spaz lol , never mind eh , to think i nearly gave up on the Bm's , this is my final attempt at this strain , at least with this pheno's i have anyway ,you have achieved alot in a small space , full respect for that , whats up with having a season you can grow ? indoors it should not matter ? or do you live in 2 property's a year ?
Anyway , some pics , 1 single cola G-Bomb , 1 Bushman G-bomb and some random BM shots....

I am not home as much in the summer, and I think it would be too hot, for the HPS anyway... but if I harvest around January 15th, I should be able to get another small crop, I got a few seeds going a couple weeks ago so I will put them 12/12 as soon as I harvest. That will bring me to the end of March before I harvest again. Then I will start seeds again in September! Next year I hope I can grow enough out of 2 crops so that I don't have to buy any for the full year. I think I will harvest around 10 oz this time with those 3 plants. I cross my finger for more though!! Next crop should be smaller because I won't veg the plants much. 12/12 as soon as I have the room.

Ah i see , fair comment , i refuse to buy any anymore , i have not been without my own now for over a year , i have a month ahead of me without any as i had the re-build and property inspection , a couple weeks a year without is sometimes good to build back up your imunity , im hoping to break the summer heatwave this year with my new air con unit and grow on through.....

Hey Enduro man sorry to keep jacking your thread , but it's thanks to your thread i gave this strain another go so anyway , looking much healthier this time around 2 weeks into bloom , pistils much thicker , much better dank green glossy looking leaves completely different than before if you remember, i think the extra wattage and air con playing a big part in this and some tips from yours.....

NICE! dont appologize to show me your Blue Mystics!! they look great, them buds are gonna get huge! I cannot wait to see my harvest, the BM is in the corner and I can't really see what's on it hehe, it seems fairly heavy... but I think that the biggest yielder will be the Grapefruit, they should be pretty close anyway. I am very impress with the Grapefruit, the clone I have in the LED cabinet is also doing amazingly well. But Blue Mystic wins for the smell, it's incredible, I hope it will sort of taste the same smoking it, gotta make sure I don't fuck up the dry/cure.

Anyway, I think 10 more days and chop chop! I was hoping to get at least a pound but now I am more realistic I would be really happy with 10 oz. I dont think the AK will have more than 2oz, if that so that is still asking A LOT out of the other 2 plants.

Lot's of purplish dark colour on some of the buds leaves, they are not that big, especially the AK doesnt seem to move at all, just losing leaves! I just gotta wait for the trichs to get where I want them, cannot wait to harvest the AK, it looks like I might harvest the Grapefruit at the same time. The big bud we can see behind the ladybug is one of the Grapefruit, ... does it look like it's getting there?

Any of you can spot the ladybug? hehe it's amazing, still got some kickin around the garden just doing their job to the end, love em!!

Anyway, time to wait a few more days!!!

They are looking stellar! I wouldn't worry about using the floranova, you aren't going to ruin the AK unless you just dump the whole bottle in there. End of grow flush is great if you run super super hot the entire time like many on this site do but considering you haven't you aren't going to suddenly end up with chemi bud due to a few nutes at the end.

Hard to say if your soil was not hot enough - one of my plants had lost almost all of its fan leaves at harvest while the other 3 plants looked fairly fine, wasn't an issue of not enough nutes but more of an issue of a picky plant. You can often catch the N deficiencies earlier on and supplement with an available N source like bat guano, but I've found that it you're already into the last week and a half it really doesn't have that much effect. By the time most of your fan leaves have started cessation it's too late to save them.

ok Thanks!! I am probably going to make a half strength flora nova solution and poor it on the BM's side. I am thinking around the 9th for AK and Grapefruit and around the 15th for BM.

I didnt have any good pictures of the BM this morning... so I did what a friend of mine did when showing me his room, I interrupted their sleep! He told me it wouldnt do anything to open the light for 5 minutes at this point of the grow... I just opened the LED half strenght for the pics but anyway, you can see the BM as good as I can! that's all I can see of it hehe. Do you think it might be going much longer? Also this same friend told me when the buds are growing the way the BM is ( sort of many heads, I draw circles and arrows ) that sometimes it's a sign that it is a hermie!!! : I hope not!
