They have been in there the whole life of them and the only thing I added was some sand cause I couldnt find any perlite and that was only 3 cups of washed sand for 5 gallons of soil.

vegged for 35 days and started flower 1-11-09 so that makes them 10 days in flower and they were grown from seed

lower the ph of ur water to 6.7 with the next watering(but let it dry out, ur going to create a second problem of over watering) and after that watering, let it dry, then go down to 6.2 and make sure every water u give it is exactly at 6.2 +- .1 which means, only 6.1, 6.2, 6.3..... not.. 6.0 or 6.4

You can get an aquarium PH test kit from wal-mart----You can get a cheap pool ph kit from most grocery stores---when you get the meter send me a PM and we'll correct your problem.

The freezing question is was for mafia(he posted as pic). As to your problems-----FFOF should'nt be above 7PH---Did you add anything to it?-----How long have the plants been in that soil?
right that was the reason i posted it, to clarify if this is what his plants looked like. I know what my problem was, it froze, i mentioned that.

Now back to topic, like i said earlier, these plants are just too wet.
Let the things dry out a week, and see what happens.
But for now, i'm out cuz the big dogs are here, and i'm a newb with inferior information. Just remember if ya' grow soil, stick to soil growers, if ya' gro hydro stick to hydro growers when pulling info.

I have no PPM or TDS meter and have nice nugs on my 12 plants. Only use 2x400watts MH, and buckets full of dirt. add some FF nutes, and kaboom. We have a pot plant. These are not really that hard to grow man, it's a freakin weed for crying out loud. We all know how hard it is to kill weeds:bigjoint:

Edit: Sorry Doc, didn't mean to sound like i was being an asshole!! Just wake and baked, really blazed!! Little confusion while reading...LOL!!!!

lilmafia---In your first post you said the pics were from cold night temps---I replied a few posts down with----"did it freeze?"--haze thought I was asking him the question, that is why I posted the--"intended for mafia"---LOL---Back on topic---Its not over-watering---You can worry about over-watering in the seedling and first 6 weeks of the vegetative cycle. Once the plants have developed a substantial root system it would be very-very hard to over-water. As far as feeding water at 6.7----bad advice:sad:--He already stated his soil ph was 7.5--At this point anything over 6.5 will cause iron to be unavailable and other micros's as well---more plant deficiencies. As soon as he get a cheap PH tester we will correct his problems.

Ok, i see where youre coming from. I never mentioned watering with 6.7 water. I drop my water to about 5.8-6.0, before i give it to the girls. When i add this water to the plant, the PH reads at exactly6.5 in the soil.
Actually i would have to argue that it is possible to overwater a flowering plant. Like i said earlier, i'm a newbie still in a sense, but i experienced overwatering early in flowering on some of my plants.
This could have been due to undeveloped root structure, like you said, but when i dried it out, watered on a schedule, and got everything back on track, they came back good.
I was just sharing my personal experience with what happened to me.
But, i still agree he needs a better PH tester.

Question? What do you keep the PH of your soil,run-off and feeding water?
