Never hurt mine, but I only added a few tbls of it, and the res was over 100L.. Its kind of pointless in hydro though unless you're using a probiotic setup like I was for a while.. I actually had 2 res's for a couple crops.. One was typical expensive hydro nutes, the other was goldfish and a bacterial complex to break down their waste..
Plants themselves may pull a tad of nutrition from the molasses, but the purpose of adding it is actually to feed the microbes so they can continue to perform a whole bunch of symbiotic tasks..
Cannabis will actually dump alot of its carb reserves into the soil for this purpose, and usually ends up a bit lacking later in the season, so by supplimenting we keep those critters happy & active..
It will stop drip systems up and stones also. And i doubt there are many ppl doing a Probiotic grow.I just dont suggest it in hydroponics, thats just my 2cents cause you will not see the results as you will in Soil.

Hey guys,
I've been sick all week, and busy as hell, with snow, ice and other headaches!!!:wall:

My girls are doing good, here is a few shots of cryptonite for ya!!
As you can see she has evolved into four solid buds, basically four big colas on one plant.
Tommorrow is the end of week 8 flowering, and she will be flushed for one more week. Then i think it will be time to chop!!:bigjoint:

Be back with pics tommorrow.

Whachya' think?

I'm going all bio, seems to be ok... I will not use molasses or any other gunk.

Looking good lilmafia!

well, good luck to you!! It is possible, but i hear good things about M for the girls in the last two weeks. I think it's worth a shot.

Yea, those should be good to go in a week I think.. Can you get any of your high magnification shots?
Sure can Born, i have just been sick, and dealing with alot of dumb stuff this week. Tommorrow is water day, so i'll flush and take pics. of the girls then.
I noticed the leaves starting to droop, and change to a lighter green. I guess this is from it using up the N to finish out. Hopefully just another week!!Cross fingers!:bigjoint:

After all they have been thru i cant believe they came out so good, good Job LMF!!
Thanks beech, the close ups i seen last time there looks like this week with a flush, today, and then at the end of this next week, which will be 9 weeks total flower, they should be ready.
I could probably take cryptonite now, but haven't flushed completely yet.

I think i finally got my clones figured out just in time to get them rooted for 420 harvest!!!

Wait till ya see the one that had all the leaves wilted, the tall one, and how it looks now. Much better!!!

Hey, it's all you guys fault my plants turned out the way they did. I just followed the leader, ya' know!!!LOL!!!:-P
Thanks guys!!!

I use Diamond Nectar all the way thru flowering, I think that it may have the same result as adding a sweetener, it is hydro friendly too.

I used it years ago for the first time and never looked back!

whats all this talk of hydro in here?
I use soil, lets stick to soil grows in my thread so i don't get confused.....
you know me beech!!!LOL!!!!

Dub, is that like using the mollasses(SP.?) in the last two weeks?
Also heard of a product called sugar momma, or sugar daddy too. Is this the same as mollasses also?

I know your in soil silly, for some reason I had hydro on the mind.:leaf:

I believe it is like molasses, I know they are sweeteners and I use them all the way through. They will also work in soil but you might want to use them afer the flush to not build it up in the soil. It is designed to boost macro nutrient production and help your plant finish off nice with more "nectar or resin" basically THC.:bigjoint:

I got a few pics coming up, I have a couple of soil plants that I water with the runoff from my aero setup, so they get the same stuff the aero plants are and I water them only when the soil is fully dry. I'm experimenting right now with using it every feeding in the soil. They are different ages though so there is a noticeable size difference.;-)

sweet, good way to recycle water!
Get them pics up and let me know so i can check them out.

Anything with sugar/carbs is for the microorganisms in the soil.. Yes it will boost macro availability because you're feeding the critters whose job it is to break down the soil, and that speeds them up.. It ensures a healthy ecosystem so your plants have easy access to anything they need, it will not be directly taken up by the plant, and will not sweeten or add flavour as such..
Happy plants just grow the sweetest buds..

Hey born, Got the mollasses yesterday and watered the four big girls with it. About 1 Tbsp. per gallon is what beech told me i think. I think i got the clones figured out, none died yet, so i cut about four more today and added them in from the PPP mom.

Pics. coming in a minute W/ close ups!!!!!:leaf:

edit: HAHAHA...it says "house of herbs" on it!!!LOL!!!

Looks expensive.. Bulk stores sell it for less than $1/lb..
(Well maybe more expensive in the states since you guys can't play nice with Cuba:)..)

Here is Cryptonite,
the shots are the tops of each stalk on the plant followed by side shots and close ups of each top.

I know....lots of pics., but this will be the first to go, so i wanna make sure you guys can see enough of it to tell me when!!:-P
Thanks
lilmaf

I included this one in the molasses bath yesterday with straight PH'd water, was this a good thing or not? Should i put it back on nutes?
