i tried scrogging the "West Coast Masters" way and using their graph of how each branch should go etc. Waste of time. More plants grown vertical and lollipop at week 2 of flower IMO. I'm keeping it simply from now on.
You don't like drew's methods? What he does is pretty spot on you just have to veg ur plants for really really long. It is extremely effective especially when dealing with very low plant limits like up in the PNW.

I love scroggin but I am with you irieie...I love to tie my girls. Every time I've Scrogged I've gotten amazing results but the time frame is horrible IMO. I can't go over a 6 week veg and doing topping + lst I always get the results i want. Nut buckets is the man when it comes to showing how to break I down. I just wish I had the time he does :)

There are some benefits to scrogging and a few setbacks to certain situations. I run a scrog in a small 2x2 tent with a 400. I do three plants in five gallons and I remove all the bud sites below the screen. I flower at 18 inches where I put the screen. This method really works best when running only one strain. Ialso found it can be difficult to reach all the plants and perform proper maintenance if the scrog is.more than three plants deep. It is great for maximizing a small space and essentially compacting your canopy into you light sweet spot for optimal yields. A scrog also is very good for structural support later in flower. Air flow is key and heavy pruning is sometimes necessary one should not be scared to mold the plants even if it mean removing large lower branches.
