My first grow with bag seed

Today I cut down my 1 plant, left her in the dark for 36 hrs. berfore chopping, trimmmed buds but dont know what to do with the trimming as Its only a small amount, what do you think?? here are pics of the harvest, wonder how much Ill have dried. maybe an oz??

whats up BC the sample I took from her last week had a citrus/lemon smell and taste and got me and my boy bombed, didnt even cure it, just dried for 5 days. So im hoping that once I cure her after she dries it will be that much better!!
 
Looks very nice, mabey a little over an Oz......Should be a glorious smoke.

How long was the veg and flowering time...

Anything you know about the bagseed?

Veg. for 38 days I think, flowered 8 weeks, the bud they came out of wasnt that hot, but I guess they didnt give them the TLC that I have, still amazed on how she turned out
 
dude nice i think your plants look just like my citrus tasting plant.. i same leafs and color nice looks great! i wonder they strain!you wouldnt be from the southwest would ya maybe we got the same bag haha nice grow!!!
 
I found that sometimes perfect females would pop a male flower or two down the line. It seemed to happen more with clones from older bushes. It is a survival thing I think. When a true female pops just one or two male flowers I got female seeds as a result.

All pot plants have the potential to pop male flowers.
 
That would also explain why my mates fem skunk popped some seeds too. Perfectly feasible, Thanks Erbium

No Wretched wish I was, love it out there, hoping to go back in a few months, currently in the way southeast!!

there has to be a reason that this happen though....would like to know why this is, stress?? temp flucuation?? lighting?? must be something, right?? A female plant is not just gonna up and produce seeds, and other than Docs friend and I, havent heard of this happening to any one else in RIU , and trust me I do alot of reading in here
 
It could be anything to stress them when they get in survival mode like a missed watering. I remember Thai being the worst.

Some plants are just prone to pop a couple of male flowers. You don't hear about it as much anymore since most people are growing stabilized strains bred to be grown indoors with parents picked from thousands.

I bet lot of guys who started growing a decade or 2 ago will have experienced this.

There is a good chance when you only have a couple of seeds in a bag the pollen came from plants prone to have that trait.
 
Hi KM, I have read that if you wanted to show the sex of a plant in Veg, you could cover one growth tip/branch with a paper bag for six hours of the 18 daily for up to a week. This trick forces that particular tip to show its sex. I huess under similar extreme circumstances such as you mention (heat light water nutes)another tip could be affected. Mother nature has a great survival instinct. Id put i down to her and always keep it in mind that she can fuck with you any time, lol. Mom nature is potentially worse than the feds, lol.

Curious to know the weight, i am gonna go just under an oz- prly like 22 grams. Cant tell how dense and hard those nuggest are, I wanna give em a squeeze and a sniff.

Thanks doc Ive heard that as well wont need to worry about that though, my next grow will be all fem seeds!!

LOL yeah im not sure what the end yield will be, bud arent real dense cause of the CFLS, fluffy is more like it!! But they do smell awsome!!! citrus/lemon smell/taste. And the high is real nice head/floaty I think I'll call it the Lemondrop!!:joint:bongsmilie:bigjoint::weed:

So buds are curing right now, the first week curing I want to burb the jars once a day for an hour right?? what about the 2nd week, burb every cpl days for an hour or so?? new pics
