My First Grow

yea thats what id go with enless it keeps spreading then its prob nut burn but no need to treat now even if it is

now at a week in a half...im going to transplant this week probably...the plant is still growing at a fair rate tho...here is a pic, kinda looks the same but two new top leaves have now gotten big enuf where from the top you cant see the burned leaves and there are two more that are growing alright perpindicular to them...its about 5.5-6 inches tall...at the rate it is going i am going to start flowering at either 12 inches or 4 weeks, whichever comes first...unless i am within a week of 4 when it gets to 12, then i will just wait it out

im thinking of using the black trash bag method to sex it early to check...can anybody advise me on how to do this? + rep as always and im gonna repost this in another thread too...

well u just cover the bottom part of the plant for 12 hours a day with a black bin bag never done it before so thats all i can say. seems a bit to much effort to me i just flower them then stick them back into veg if there to small.

im not worried about the flowering im worried about the sex...i wanna know if its a girl and if its a male imma pretty much be done with it...unfortunately

well put it into 12 12 for 2 weeks then check then put it back to back to veg. or just keep on hoping its a girl while ur vegging it. i realy think the paper back method is to much work to bother with

so switching from flowering light to veg wont stress it?

na wouldnt think it would stress it to much you would loose a month of growth so i normaly just do that for mothers for a week and a half it looks awesome

its two and a half weeks...alright i might try that switching for a week or two til it shows sex...

alright..so a lil mishap...last night it was looking a little droopy...this morning i woke up to it crying...i didnt know how to fix it...it was really dry and light so i watered it, then i said FUCK IT and transplanted into a 12 inch pot...i think thats 3 gallons...anyway it was probably a lil late cuz i could already see the roots around the outside edges of the dirt that i pulled out of the pot...i hope they can adjust alright and werent too tangled...anyway i know the transplanting alone could shock it and i am hoping it doesnt die on me considering it was all droopy before that...it perked back up a lil bit..when i found her this morning she was with her leaves almost all the way dropped...so hopefully strength is coming back...the burned leaves still look bad, of course...here are a few pics...also, added another 23 watt cfl for a total of four...and put emergency blanket all the way around it...tell me what u think or any advice...

Im sure it will Ive read in many post that they droop when transplanted & when they are in need of water.
What nutes have you been feeding it?

i listed them in some previous posts in this thread...very light levels of all purpose mg...like 1/4 strength...something like that every once in a while...

I think it may be "drooping" because your lights are on the side and its trying to catch the light, try putting them above the plant for awhile to see if the leaves curl back up, if this is the case, move them back down, and get more lights for a 360 degree coverage, and try to get a light on top too.. plus you're going to want softwhite light for flowering unless you have a HPS. So a combination would be good

there is a light right over top, i just moved it for the picture...it drooped when all the lights were above the plant, now i just have the one above and three around the midway point of the plant on the sides to promote out growth and growth of the smaller branches coming off of the main stem...

side lights still look a little low, but, what soil are you using?
