my outdoor medical grow 2010!

Roots hate light, your bottom cups should be light proof, for when the roots get to the bottom, they will curl back up and sufficate itself. I would place them in 5 gallon pots now, just they can take off, and you don't have to worry about shocking them. Be sure to moniter the daily weather highs, lows, wind, rain and humidity so that you can ensure the best times to water, fertilize, etc. Good LUCK!

soory your wrong. roots grow just fine in the light its the dryness they don't like. i grow in clear dixie cups roots exposed to the light and they grow at a very good rate of speed with no problems.

im very interested in this question now myself. and i would like to know who is right. would either of you have pics or a reference to back up what your saying.

i grew in clear cups and have pics on my other PC. they are posted here somewhere. the roots really don't care. you may get some green algae forming though. nothing to really worry about, it's just like lawn.

they are going to flower before summertime. you put them outside too early. the days now are less than 12 hours. :wall:

well doesnt daylight savings change this sunday? even if they do start flowering, they will just re-veg soon anyways right?

no, they will waste 2 months trying to reveg and then they will still grow funky. you'd be better off starting new seedlings in a month because they will easily outgrow your plants that are busy trying to reveg. keep them inside and let them get bigger until late april. it will work out much better. :bigjoint::bigjoint:

daylight savings time has nothing to do with anything.

its not good to use clear cups..its not good for the roots to see the light. they will turn green. and when the plant gets bigger the roots will start to wrap around the cup
