How long after those two weeks till I cut her down? I assume I'd need to flush for a week before I harvest as well, so that means 2 straight weeks flowering w/ nutes & molasses, then 1 week of only molasses, and then I guess one last week using only clean water?

i dont actually flush till i put them into thier 48 hrs of dark, i just water with molasses every other watering and plain water on the ones i dont give molasses, but i usually go for 2 weeks with no nutes, what date did you flip her to flower and when did she show pistils bro? thats going to give a better time frame for harvest than all this speculation, shes an indica dom but has some sativa in her so id say some where between 9 and 11 weeks from start of 12/12 till harvest.

Hmm I think 1/5 I put it on 12/12. It had those white hairs (those are pistils IIRC) starting like 2 weeks before I flowered her.

then the erliest you should harvest is march 5th then, there are a few 6 week flowers out there but not many. once you hit 8 weeks keep a close eye on it and wait till all the pistils turn red/brown and the trichs are nice and milky or amber. if its going to go longer than 8 weeks it should hit another growth spurt somewhere around the middle of week 7.

It's SAMPLE time :lol:. I know yall will hate me for this, but it had to be done. I picked a few nugs (maybe 2% of the plant) to quick dry, only because I have no bud and want to sleep.

I tried to flash dry some yesterday using the toaster method (make a trough out of foil and place it over the toaster slot after letting it run and cool slightly, then repeat). I already smoked and was coming down so it was hard to tell how potent that bud was. It was no more harsh than some decent regs though, and I felt a slight rush even though I was sleep deprived and exhausted. The bud appeared to have "cooked" a little from drying with too much heat, so it's possible that is lost a lot of potency that way. Many of the trichs looked like they burst too :(

I just dried a couple more using the toaster oven method (tray on top of oven set to ~200*). I also blow dried it a bit too, just to evaporate as much moisture as possible. When the bud seemed dry, I packed it in my bong and tried to smoke some with and without water. It was a bit hard to light, but it did smoke and I am kinda high, although it's a weird high that isn't very strong. It's there, but it's not intoxicating at all. I feel "high" but my perception of reality is almost unchanged. There was an initial rush, but it felt like it was "in the background" and went away quickly. To be honest, I just don't have that "satisfied" feeling I get after settling down from a nice bong rip. Maybe it's cause I'm anxiously awaiting my connect to come through so I don't need to pick these premo buds lol, so who knows. I definitely feel I should have dried it more, because I usually need one, BIG hit to get my stoned and this stuff did not burn quick enough.

Dude that shit got some purp to it lol. It looks killer, just FYI when i lived in Hawaii, and when its summer here in Oregon i have good luck hanging a bud from my rearveiw mirror with the windows up to dry it in a hurry. I used to do that when i needed smoke and was gonna go to the beach. I would pluck the nug and hang in from the mirror, drive to the beach about 1 hours drive. After swimming for about 4-5 hours with my jeep in the sun I would come back to a nice dry crisp nug. The air gets just hot enough to dry it quick without cooking it and ruining your smoke.

Make sure you dry that right man take your time and let it hang and dry. If you rush it the whole grow will have been for nothing. Just be a smig more patient cause you worked so hard to get here, not a good time to rush shit and get a bad result.

damn havn't been around in a good month or so and my god this thing is looking fire. The purple coloring to it is wow and its coming along nice. Just be patient and you'll be more than satisfied just a bit longer.

Sorry for the delay, fellas, been crazy busy. Here's a few quick paragraphs to catch everyone up, I'll be back later with more details:

I've been picking some small popcorn buds to smoke, only because I have no other bud and I need to smoke to sleep. If I don't sleep, I can't work so I don't have much of a choice. There's a reason why I can't bud, although I can't get into details for the sake of anonymity. The good news is, I've created two of the best quick dry methods around. I am writing up a guide as we speak and will post to RIU later.

The plant is doing great. She will ready to be fully harvested in a few days, after the upper fan leaves all turn yellow. I don't have a microscope but it does look the trichs are turning milky from the macros I took below. I will probably flush the shit out of the soil during the last couple of days, even though I never used any nutes.

Even though those popcorn buds were "quick dried", they still got me mad blazed and tasted just as good as the high-end commercial shit. This plant is definitely HAZE, it's purple too, but that's cause of the cold not the strain :lol:. My God.. if I had a few Ps of this, I could sell it for like $6000/lb :o.. easy. Too bad the clone failed, cause I doubt anyone can tell the exact strain of this thing. Light has been leaking into the box for a few days, so hopefully the plant goes herm a little and gives me a couple seeds..

Damn, this thing smells just like, uh, HAZE now, not skunk like it used to. The smell is insane, it's just HAZE; nothing like weed is supposed to smell like. The high is uplifting and relaxing at the same time, and almost pure cerebral buzz. I have no idea how I got this seed, or even how this thing grew under those conditions. I thought this was a completely different strain that I got the seed from! WOW, I cannot imagine how good this shit is gonna be dried the right way and cured.

They look like they have about a week left to them, the macros you posted show them getting cloudy but if you smoke to sleep then you might wanna wait till they start to get amber colored through the majority of them.

Thanks for the reps and props.. looks like wowisuckatthis' March 5th harvest date was about right. I will continue taking macros and looking for amber trichs, and keep this weekend open as the likely chopping day. I'll probably look for 50/50 amber and cloudy so I get just enough CBD, not to where I smoke a bowl and feel like a zombie after I come down but enough to give me a nice "narcotic", relaxing 'euphoria wave' to compliment the head high. Growing this plant has been such a fun educational experience, I can't believe how much I learned about this herb I've been smoking for years just over the course of the last few months. Hopefully tonight I can write up my two quick dry techniques and give back to this community, even though most people hate quick drying :lol: Trust me, these methods work great and I have photo evidence to prove the trichs stay intact.

Sounds good on the writeup, how much you think your gonna yield? do you have a scale, please say you do. I think you just smoked the Grams/watts ratio all to hell with this one. Make sure when you harvest that you wait till its all dried and weigh it then add up how many watts of cfl you are using and post it up. I'm really interested in finding out.
