Never Had Luck With Cuttings/Clones

PS---Never touch the cut end of plant after the cut, before you plant. If you smoke wash hands with rubbing alcohol... or use gloves...
Handle clone by leaf tips, never by top, or bottom....

I would like to share this air layering technique with everyone. This is the only way I've ever had luck with clones, lol.

Ill add you. My order should be in by the end of week. I've got 2 autos coming in, can't remember the strains off the top of my head, but I'll do Some experimenting.

So, it's been a week now since I've cut my clones. They are still alive which is a good sign. Usually they will be dead by this time. The older leaves are slowly turning yellow, but I have had left too much leaf material on the clones. The newer growth is still very healthy. The clones were flowering, but they had possible revegged right before I cut them. I'm still new to this plant, so I am not sure if it is revegging or normal flowering leaf growth.

Been misting them a couple times a day with a solution of Liquid Karma, Superthrive, and a bit of rooting hormone/fungicide. Been keeping them under 18/6 low watt cfl. Temps in the high 70's to 80's. Hopefully I still start seeing knew growth and roots sometime in the next 2 weeks or so. Thanks for the help. Are the yellowing leaves normal?

I've noticed lower leaves often turn yellow just before popping roots.

If you have had them for a week or so you shouldn't need to mist them 2x day

I would start letting them dry out some. The drier you can keep them without wilting the faster you will see roots.

im sure youve gotten the responses you needed but heres how i do it. i havent had much experience but around 98% success rate. i cut em. usually 6-7 inches tall, stick them in water. scrape the cadmium layer. i use this root powder. not sure what it is cause the labels all fucked up. after that i stick them straight into small pots with soil. have a CFL over 4 or 5. mist a few times a day and thats it. k.i.s.s.

apparently you can also use freshly scraped aloe for your rooting compound if youd like to go strictly organic.
