Just gonna throw this out there…
Both Minors and Johnnys are mainly flavored with soy or vegetable protein.
As a matter of fact, if it wasn’t for the Worcestershire sauce in the Johnnys, it would be vegan.
In the restaurant, if we had to take shortcuts with stocks, we usually used this… and while it still contains vegetable protein, at least the first ingredient is actual roasted beef and concentrated beef stock.

I've never tried the beef but I do have a jar of the chicken base in the fridge at home. I like it for those days during cold season when I wanna whip up a quick chicken soup and dont have any stock.Just gonna throw this out there…
