Well, i have the space for quite a few lights. But for the time being. Tomarrow im setting up my other 3 lights. all together its gonna be 5 23 watt CFL's 2 ontop with the aquarium light reflector and display. And 1 on 3 different sides. All together thats 115 watts, or 8000 lumens at 1600 lumens a peice. Thats good enough for the Veg state. Even better cause im making reflectors to put around the lights. i will be getting better lights once the 2 im keeping in there are ready for Flowering, well not better lights cause i cant afford it. But more cfls definatley.

What do you plan on doing about the heat? Since you are growing with cfl's, it shouldn't be too big of a problem, but it will happen.

Yah, well. so far the heat in there has been good, i dont have a thermometer yett. But the air in there feels to be in the 70's probably. its only a bit warmer then my house in there which is at exactley 70. Its nice and humid in there 2

And, it looks like i will have to find a ventilation fan, i could probably do without it since its only covered with 2 dark blankets and the whole front is open. But i wanna get this shit done right.

The best part about growing i think so far, is waking up in the morning and checking them. Because i usually wake late in the morning. and thats when they do the most growing. So even more so at this early stage, I end up waking 2 good results. For instance. Yesterday night i went to sleep with just 2 of them even coming out of the ground. but just a little bit. And i woke up to one of them being a half inch tall, with its first leaves. i was so syked

Yes I love to check them out in the mornings!

If I were you, I'd get a temp and humidity gauge ASAP! I keep it around 65-69 in my apt and it is still 78-82 in my closet. Yea I have a 400 watt MH, but I used cfl's in the beginning and it still got hot. You want high humidity levels during veg, especially when they are as small as they are now.

Yah, im getting some mylar tomarrow. to coat the sides of the box with. That should increase the light effiency alot. And i will get some temp gauges. Any ideas on how to get moisture in there. i think theres enough for now. but i want to make sure.

Hmmm..humidifier would be best, but if you can't do that..throw a bowl of hot water in there.

I dunno, but it's worth a shot. High humidity during veg is good for them. When you get your gauge, you will know exactly what it's at. If it gets to be to much, lay off the water for a while.

You cab get those gauges cheap. I found mine at Wal-Mart. It will tell you the high and low RH and Temp. Pretty nice feature...

No, it shouldn't. They have to reach temperatures of 91 and above before they die. I doubt it will get that hot in your setup.

I'm anxious to see what your ph reads! ;)

They didn't have them? Where did you go? It's damn near summer time, they should have an ample supply.
