OK..did all four...seems a little busy in there with foilage. Probably shoulda done this two weeks ago..oh well. I put some smaller hooks on some other stems to try and keep em' apart more but some of the tops seem pretty busy but maybe by morning they'll left up towards the light..
You can see the steam from my humidifier. things doing a good job I have to say...lowered the light to 18" over the canopy foliage.
If I don't stay the hell outta there I think my wife's gonna put a bed in there for me..lol

Yeh..thanks to you for those air pots..you're the one that turned me on to em'.

I was super careful bending the stems plus I just seriously watered em' and bent them about an hour later plus the rooms pretty steamy from the humidifier and you were right..the humidity level went way up eventually and I've been keeping it just over 65% -+ and around 82-85 ish degrees so I figured the stems were pretty pliable which they were and the roots are fine...I just bent them from the very tops so as not to strain the main trunk down by the base..Trust me..I was super careful...so careful my heart was beating...lol
thanks again dude and I'll letcha know how those pots work out....I just need to remember people said the soil dries out a lil' faster and it might need one extra watering a week...do me a solid and remind me...lol

ya thats the mistake i made on one guy before...bent it too near the base and pulled the roots a slight bit caused about a week of stressed crappy looking plant then it bounced back....

YEh...as I was bending them I picked up on the fact that I didn't wanna "lean" the plant over but rather bend it which can only be done from the from the top...just checked em' a minute go and the ends are alredy starting to turn up towards the light...speaking of lights...

I was looking on Ebay where I scored my ballast and it came with one MH and one HPS bulb. It was a good deal and everything's working great but I'm thinking I should always have a spare of each...do you or anyone else have a favorite bulb (600 watts) that'll work with my 600 watt dimmable ballast?..or should I just get it where I originally got it. His price is $35 + $10 to ship...I'm guessing he might combine shipping for one HPS and one MH (600 Wqtt) 88,000 Lumes http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPS-600W-600-W-SUPER-HPS-HYDROPONICS-GROW-LIGHTS-BULB-/270828809557?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item3f0ea7ad55#ht_2766wt_1165
I've seen 90.000 Lumes..are those better of is this one good? Not much difference really...I dunno a lot about light quality
thanks
edit..it says he sends additional items free

well i honestly dont know much about how much the bulb or reflector actually helps or hinders either...however my buddy JUST grabbed a new 600 and so i was trying to find the same info and almost all suggestions on bulbs were for lumatek...they are pricey but supposed to be the better option...my only thing is if the yield is really better or not..if so its worth it the thing will pay for itself after the first use but as i said i have little knowledge on this

Your lucky to have that time! I get If lucky 1/2 hour a day before my sweety wake's (have cameras all around house to keep me in view at all time's)She has hasimoto's and her brain is enlarged...jellous of your time but be assured you can do what you need including LST'ing pretty fast! Why so close with the light? I Mounted my light 5 foot 11 inches a year ago and have never touched it?? I have grown two and one half grow's..plant's grow into space..yield is awesome and quality is top notch...I hear people all the time "oh didn't move light up shit burn't them..."what is your reasoning? I check my space with a digital lux meter and have even coverage of whole space..I run 62 watt's per square foot! my bud's are longer for the fact the plant want's to reach tword's the source!! see my yield's or plant's and say I'm wrong...the sun doesn't get closer to the plant's??Taller frosty bud's!.jpg3 week's left 4foot sqX7feet high.jpg...LSD 024.jpg

well light height also depends on how much area you need to coverand penetration amount...so if your working with a 600 i believe the space it can cover without losing penetration is a 4x4 area (and that may be off a little but the point is still the same) so if you only need to cover a 3x3 area it makes sense to lower your light and if your trying to cover a 6x6 area well you can by raising it but you lower your light penetration!...so if your only needing to cover the 4x4 area it would not make sense to raise the light up to covering a 6x6 area....i dont se a problem with having the light low a long as your area is covered and you are high enough that you arent burning anything..

Kermit...I understand what you said! And you are correct with XXL hood you can cover a 4X4 (my space!) with 600 but I would still set it to the top and leave it there!! what I wan't to know is why move it after you know you have the coverage and penatration? What are you acomplishing certainly not more bud the site's are all full! Resin content can ONLY BE CHANGED BY ADDITION OF UVB..not a hotter light source...my plant's receive 48,000 lumen's for 12 hour's a day more than they can actually use! and produce accordingly! What am I missing?? Hey I know I'm old and have been out of the loop for a while but I fail to see any advantage to moving the light's constantly! And yes the sun does get closer and if the plant's flowered in august, when it's at it's peak (With UVB) it would be much more potent the plant's timing is wrong outside hence some dispencerie's will pass on outdoor crop's harvested at this time...so much for the sun's timming and weed! jack

The MH bulb I'm using is 60,000 Lumens and the HPS is 88,000...and I've seen the HPS a bit higher but not a lot.
The grow room area where my plants are now is just over 4'x6' "in that one area"....it's an L shaped room. the entire length of the L is about 12' and it widens at the small part of the L another 3 feet approx...so I have room to expand if I want but I have to say..one more light like I have now would be way more than enough because it's just for me anyway. I just dig growing it. I think under one 600 watt light I can grow probably 5 really nice sized plants and six if I push it..although I'm not 100% sure..maybe 6 plants under one light? Probably six X2 if I had another light but I don't really need that many plants..

I have my cool tube about 18" over the tops now and it's only 84 degrees at the top of each plant so I could lower it a few inches..but will a few inches help really?

Since I transplanted the four yesterday the plants started drooping just a hairP1010269.jpgP1010270.jpgP1010271.jpgP1010272.jpgP1010273.jpg...not bad but it is noticable. I'm guessing thats normal? Probably shocks the plants a bit? Hoping they recoup in another day or so.
I'm at 67% and 84 deg right now...looked on the MH box and it said if you run the light 24/7 you should shut the light off once a week for at least 15 minutes so I just did that..
I will say this...they look soooooo deep green with the light on or off and lots of little new foliage coming up all over the tops. Looks kinda busy with so many fan leaves though since I LST'd em yesterday and the ends/tops that I bent over are picking up towards the light again so I spose I have to wait till it gets some what taller so I can stake it down again?
Looks awesome ...and oh yeh...today was the first day that when I walked down the basement...I could smell it half way down the stairs..and thats with the GR door mostly closed too...I think the dehumidifier helps the aroma work it's way out...mannn does that smell god..YUM!

Looking sweet!! nice set up!! My luminex at 12" put's out as advertised 145,000 lumen's steady and even through length!! That's 1000 watt's they have a 600 that put's out 90,000 lumen's Son T Plus Phillip's and one at 110,000 by by osram (sylvania).. and with enhanced spectrum meaning added 480nm and uvb blue...Watch out for the aroma...fighting it now in flower only product that work's is ONA Wishing only a trouble free grow my brother!! jack

Hey Jack...what brand mycorrhizae do you buy and where do you score? Earth Juice brand or...??? Amazon (⇦see link) seems to have the best prices and is the easiest...but there's so many different varieties. I read lots of good things about it after you brought it up and wanna include it in my arsenal.
Had real scare the past few days with two of my girls after the transplant. One was drooping so bad I couldn't even sleep at night...lol...no really..they were hnging soooo droopy over the edges of the airpots...bad!!...then today it didn't look any better..or any worse for that matter so I Googled "hydroponic stores" near me to get a bottle of Bushdoctor to flush them out but thought tht might not be a good idea right now either...that I should just leave them alone and pray to Buddha a lot :) I find one new place that just opened..I called em'..just get a recording so I jump in my van and drive half hour only to find some storage facility that electricians and vitamin companies were using..ugh..I drive back home and rechecked my girls and they actually started looking way better..and I mean WAYY better..they musta felt my pain :)!! I felt such relief you have no idea...lol...I dunno about anyone else but this is such an emotional hobby...lol.
So anyway...My plants'll need another watering in probably a cpl of days so I'll just do plain rain water then use the Bushdoctor that should be in my mailbox by then..which is in the Fox Farm schedule anyway..but I'd like to add some of that mycorrhizae as well. Can I just add it to the top of the pots and water it it right? Doesn't have to be mixed into the soil when I repotted..?
Here's how they're looking today...wayyyy better'n yesterday..whewwwww

P1010274.jpgP1010275.jpg the first photo..the one in the front was wayyyyy droopy and the one behind her was turning yellow..but they seemed to have picked back up... the two on the left were fine the whole time. thank Buddha they were so hearty to begin with!,,and they look like they'll be ready to stake down around the pot again in probably a few more days to keep em LSTing

I like the way you think Jack!! Keyword<>PROACTIVE. should be a sticky note on everyone's grow room door! Reading through so many threads here...they should take heed to your advice. so many people freak out at things that seem like they could have been easily avoided but I understand b/c there's still so much I should be doing that I haven't yet. It's easy to put off...but I am really getting there. Seems though that I wait till I have...well...like with my building...I wait till I have a substantial materials list....and thanks to you (although my wife might not thank you...heh heh)my list is growing. Think I'll put in an order today (Amazon). thing about Amazon a lot of the things on the list have free shipping when I spend over $25 ...which ain't hard to do..but other things..like the Mycorr.has free shipping....The nemotode's doesn't no matter what you buy, but the price seems fair in comparrison to all that I searched out. The wife said to me the other day..."there's sure a lot of charges on Paypal for planting stuff"...heh heh...I said, "well dear, what it cost for those items pays for itself licity split if you figure that anytime I buy some herb it's $20 a gram..andddd that weed is crapolla in comparrison"...course she thinks I don't need the ganja to begin with but she's cool with it...plus.as I told her...I LOVE growing it. that alone keeps me happy!! So..if I'm happy, she'll be happy :)

I know my next materials list will be expensive so I better go easy after I score the two items above. I'm gonna need to set up my GR in half or 1/3:2/3 One for veg and one for bloom..need to deal with heat more then. Probably'll divde the room up with a small roll of 6.7 diamond mylar and a zipper in the center..That shit looks awesome and not terribly expensive for the small roll. There's even be enough to put on the floor under my girls to reflect light back up and so I can clean the floor from h2o run-off.....unless putting it on the floor is a waste? Says in their ad it CAN be used for the floor/drop cloth because it's so thick...

Then I also need to consider the cost of another light/ballast but reading what a lot of youz guyz use...CFL's..I'm thinking that'd be way cheaper???
anyway....gotta get me some coffee...adios for now..and thanks everyone;-)
edit: just ordered the Mycorr..shit..says I won't get it til after july 9th...probably cuz it's an amazon store..not amazon themselves who ships out way fast..but maybe I'll get lucky...it happens :)

Waiting on a quart of FF's Sledgehammer/Bushdoctor in the mail..should be here the end of this week I hope....to flush my girls for the first time. I think thats what they need being it's been about five and a half weeks weeks from seedlings now, but I'm not sure..the plants that yellowed in the second photo I'm pretty sure thats the reason..Not sure what that one plant in the fourth photos (towards the right) problem is with that sorta burnt looking leaf...same thing maybe? I noticed nice new foilage up top and the tippy tips are sorta white? Far as over watering? Being they're in air-pots now they totally drain well so....and I let them pretty much dry out before I put more rain water in their pots again. Humidities been around 65% and temps around 80-85 deg and using FF nutes. Put up an insect tower..which is kinda cool to catch those fruit fly looking bastards which there ain't too many of..btw thats a fake bug imprinted on the tower on the top of it....Maybe it's from when I transplanted 'em about a week and a half ago? Wanna fix the problem before I let them go to the flowering stage in a week or two..Any thoughts?
Thanks

I love your grow!! Nice Clean And class "A" grow!! Listen my friend get a no pest strip hang it and no more anything...doesn't affect plant's but BUG"S are dead!! When they bloom watch them pop!! Usually use cal-mg this time so when flower's doesn't run short! I use sledgehammer twice durring grow final flush and after vege....in two month's be prepared to support those huge cola's!! can't really work around as you WILL BREAK ONE!....jack

hey thanks for the nice words Jack...didn't ya see the pest strip I have in the center of the four plants? I know...it doesn't look like one..thats b/c it's a pest "tower" from Home Depot with strips of flypaper around it. they're cool cuz they don't blow around like the strips do when your fans are oscilatting. I put a screw in the bottom of it into a piece of wood and put the wood from one pot to another. I can easily remove it when I'm watering. I also ordered the Beneficial nematode's which should be here any day now...
Regarding the cal-mg..is that like any of these?
Not really looking to spend another eighty bucks...but I spose it's be an investment..if y'all think it's really worth it?
Thanks for the help man :)
Huge cola's huh :weed: :)
