and just in case FDD is keeping track of how we all spend our time, i just got off work, ate, smoked a bowl of killing fields, and am enjoying a beer.

and sportcenter is on....just saying.
i cleaned my garage (no help from ron paul :cuss:) and tended to my baby ducks. watered some plants and fed my chickens. still have to mow the lawn and run the dishwasher.

i also posted my air conditioner for sale. anyone in the portland area want 8000 BTUs for $75?

i hope you processed that air conditioner accordint to federal regulations.....it contains ozone reducing particles.

no seriously, you cant just "throw them out" if you dont have a buyer. they have to be processed, drained, and inspected before the dump will take them.

but you wont mind paying that little "fee"

man you guys are easy. :)

i'm sure my next grow room will need one, i'll probably be in a warmer locale.

thats funny. good one ;)

i dont know where you work but tell them you made an electrical contractor laugh toningt ;)
Mmk broskii, I have no reason to lie and if you look through my posts I've made it clear in the past that I work in the lightbulb industry (I sell ballasts too!), it's not my career - as I'm in school obviously - but I've been in the industry for almost my entire adult life; Sales, AR/AP, purchasing, inventory, etc... I deal with electricians on a daily basis as well as the general public... I really dont see what's so hard to believe about that, Jeff. It's the only thing outside of economics I've ever claimed expertise in.

by "ALMOST my entire adult life" you mean.....4 years?

i think adult means 18.

thats what i am talking about mame. you think there are an endless stream of dumbasses walking into your store who have "no clue" about lightbulbs.

listen to your customers and learn. they may not be lightbulb experts, but they know they need light. and they know where to go for light. and they know that lights burn electricty. and they know how much their electricity costs. and they probably have a friend who is an electrician. and....and....and... they are just as smart as you.

and when they ask you a bunch of dumb questions about light, they are asking another salesman across town the same questions about lights....even though they just asked you.....and they already know the answer. but they know they want the best deal. and...and....and...they are just as smart as you.

they arent dumb. they are shopping.

Man, you guys are busy little bees. All I managed to do was watch a few movies, play a bunch of COD MW and put the stones to my wife. Then I ordered pizza because I was too tired to cook after such an exhausting day.

you're not as hot as you think.

i would gladly pay a fee to dump that thing when the time comes rather than let it contaminate my area of residence.

you think $75 is going to bump me into a taxable bracket? HA!

my life as a grower nets me enough to pay the bills, feed myself, and play the very occasional round of $10 golf. gone are the days of two rounds of golf on a $30 track every week.

i was supposed to be playing golf today. a client owes me about 10 rounds by now (the bum) and keeps welching out on playing.

so i made a few chores for myself.

rough is life.

You are required to pay taxes on anything you barter or sell, even if it is old and used and you already paid the sales tax when you purchased it. So pay up or be a hypocrite.

sure, i'll report it.

doesn't matter though. i don't make enough to get into any taxable bracket anyway.

I don't think you understand. If you live out on the street and make no money at all in a year, you are still required to pay taxes on things you sell or barter. It isn't considered income tax, its considered a sales tax. You are required to pay that tax no matter your station in life or how little you make.

no he never lives up to his responsibity. and if he did have to scrap it the right way, he wouldnt pay that cost either. usuall 30 -40 bucks around here.

he just finds it immensly important that WE pay our fair share.

apparently he doenst even mind paying taxes to pay for the dep cops to enforce the law either. because we do pay inspectors to peruse dumps for untagged ac units.....oh, wait, he doesnt pay taxes. i forgot.

i love being lectured by guys like you.
