Newb 1200 watt first diy led

I have all the essentials. Here's my list:
20-cxb 3590 3000k 90CRI 36v Bd bin
5-hlg240-1750b drivers
10-140mm coolmaster fans
5-6 inch × 36 inch heatsinks
Each cob should be pushed to about 63watts. I think some some thermal paste is coming with the cobs. Do i need pads also? Should be here in on the 21st. I think I I'll need heatshrink and Sauder iron. Maybe wagos also, I'm not sure. If there is anything else I will need please help. I want this led build to be top shelf in quality. +Reps will be given for help. Thanx RIU!

The Paste is enough.
I use Artic Silver 5 for my 1st COB Build.
A solderless COB Holder with the adapter for the 90° Angelina Reflector, 4 M3 Screws an the sun goes up
34V@1050mA (35.7W)
active air cooled @30°C

you can use glue to solder with now days

I`ve been tempted to fuck off the heat paste too and use the same glue to jam the cob on the heatsink too

Just wondering why we never see an old ally engine or engine head being used as a heatsink I mean they can be got for free and would passively cool some huge leds, ok probably can only side light with them, but people building passives are spending a ton on ally heatsinks

You will not need pads if your already using thermal paste.how will your cobs be attached to the heatsinks? Are you using capton tape or some type of cob holders like the ideal chiplok ect? If using holders you would need to drill and tap your heatsinks.this is where the round pin style heatsinks shine because they come pre drilled and ready to slap cobs on em.

prob because most heads have very few spaces with 2" of solid metal anywhere- they are usually cast pretty tight to the cylinder without extra metal- and who wants to hang a 50 lb head over your head!

If you are planning to use COB holders and screw them down with the screws described above, you'll also need to drill and tap your holes in your HeatsinksUSA , so you'll need a drill and tap to make the M3 tapped holes. This will be a massive chore and you'll find it hard to be accurate enough - which is why the pin-style heatsinks have been developed with tapped holes ready prepared at the factory.
To avoid all the drilling and tapping and still go with your finned heatsinks, have a look at GreenGenes Garden youtube video here:
You should subscribe to his channel an have a good look at some of his other stuff too.
If you have any time left after that, subscribe to Growmau5 as well and watch all of his videos. You'll become and expert lol.
Both of these guys are active on RIU and have been a tremendous help to me and many others.

I've literally watched that video 10 times! So is there anything else I would need? I'm going to get some heatshrink and 18 or 16awg wire. Would u guys rather use wagos, butt splices, or solder your connections. I'm an electrician so this build should be cake. I use butt splices regularly with heat shrink.

I have a 2amp power supply (ac adapter). 80% would be 1.6amps. My fans pull .14amps a piece. 11 fans = 1.6 amps. I only need to run 10. So basically this one power supply should be sufficient enough for all 10 fans. Correct?
