Newbie with a Rough Situation but a Hopeful Plan. Please Help!

i can't give too much info on flowering nutrients, i use MG Bone Meal(6-9-0) and molasses for a tea, takes a while to prepare(at least 2 weeks), and has a smell that is not pleasant - works well though
you can flower whenever you choose, stretch is typically 2 - 3 times height when you started flower
if in doubt, flower sooner, smaller plants much easier to deal with

If you want to keep it easy just use Tiger Bloom

Sorry, I forgot to check this thread again. I have a Aqua-6 Ozone Generator Ozonator Water Air Oil Purifier 600 mg/h. It is sold on amazon. It would probably work ok if I didn't have so many plants and no carbon filter yet. It's on its way and I should know more after I get it going.

im at the point of cloning i think. best from what ive read (correct me if im wrong) i should be basically topping it for the clone right?

or can i take side branches? is there any great video or pictures that show?

the problem is my plant is super bushy but really short and there isnt much height. but a lot of nodes. and a lot of branches.

you could top, some plants throw out side branches later, so topping may be the only way at this time

You can tell when its a side branch because it has more stuff on it then just a fan leaf right? Cuz I think I have a bunch of those. I would just rather not top. I want to flower as soon as my gen arrives. That is if I test it and it works well.

Does anyone know how often and for how long I should be running my ozone generator?

I only have one plant and as of right now the plan is to vent air into a cardboard box that holds the ozone generator and the cardboard box has air holes so the clean odor free air is slowly being released.

a branch forms between the main stem and a fan leaf
a branch will have its own stem and fan leaves, just smaller than the main stem/fan leaves

Ah ok cool. And I can clone those right? Does it matter where the branches are when I clone them?

you can clone whenever there is enough nodes on the cut branch, a node is where there is a fan leaf junction on the branch
i'd say 3 nodes is the smallest size, that's from memory, kind of stopped cloning after getting caught up in crosses
i have seen that lower branches are recommended for better cloning, not sure about that

Ok cool. I have plenty of branches so that shouldn\'t be too difficult. I read somewhere that its best to wait until the plant is actually starting to produce pistols before throwing it into flower. That way its naturally ready instead of forcing it. Is that true?!?!

And has anyone had nirvanas white widow? I love love love sativa highs and I was under the impression that white widow is majority sativa with indica. Is that correct?

if a plant is producing pistils, then it is already in flower, and is female(or hermie)
you can throw the flowering switch whenever you want, just remember a plant will stretch a lot during flowering, though LST does control this height wise
haven't done nirvana's WW, but have had a couple of WW crosses - PPP and brainwreck
they seem to be low on edginess, which is fine by me, not sure if that came from the WW parentage

I dont think you have too much to worry about with power spikes; aside from cost but even then a 150w would only run me about $12 a month(calculated using my electric companies web site tool) I use 2 different 75 watt lamp for my snake and a 150 watt sunlamp + scoop for our very large turtle tank and they run an average of 12 hours a day. Anyhow the feds can no longer subpoena utility records (and I doubt your personal grow would tip anyone off) just the same as the RIAA cant subpoena your cable company for all those mp3's you dl'd j/k.
Big brother isn't going to be busting down your door for just a few plants.
As far as your plans go I would recommend using a closet or building a smaller version of the tent I have; one for just 3 plant scrog would cost about $20 to build ( let me know if you are interested and need help via PM) and give your plants more room to branch off thus giving you more bud sites.
I was drawing up plans to fit one behind my sectional between the wall it would only bump my couches out about 2' and I planned to use a piece of 3/4'' ply as a shelf above the kit for added storage(books,dvds etc).
all you need is a 2x 10' runs of 2 1/2" schedule 40 pvc about $2.75 a piece @ home depot, 8 3-way [corner]couplings about $10 for the construction grade ones at my hydro store and a heavy- duty reflective tarp from harbour freight for $5.99. I will be using two pc fans on each end that I rigged little frames for To ensure proper air flow and a few diy carbon filters

Yeah I\'m almost finished staining my grow box. Then mylar. Then attach doors and I\'m done. I\'m going to post pictures soon because I think it would help with a lot of stealth grows. I\'ve got this idea for it that will just blow you dudes away if it works.

Well have you smoked white widow? I\'m looking for a fun, social, giggle, happy high. Not a strong indica high where it feels like I weigh as much as fat Albert and I can\'t decide what I wanna do more, eat or sleep. Haha fun at night but I\'m looking for more of that uplifting energetic sativa high. Anyone recommend any seeds?

if you wait for pistils appear spontaneously, you're in for a long wait
unless it's an autoflower, it will stay in veg until the light cycle changes
for a 1st grow, sooner to flower will probably be a better deal
many new growers will end up with a plant that overwhelms their grow space in size, lighting, and odor control

alright thats kinda what i thought. i was reading a short thread on another site and it just didnt sound right compared to everything else ive read.

i just clipped three clones last night. ill be posting pics tonight of my little set up.

im gonna wait till my clones take root before i flower.

to get a clone properly rooted may well take up to 3 weeks
so you could have a rather large plant to flower
you could clip more branches/top to keep the plant under control
this is how a mother plant is treated. frequent cuttings keep it small(relatively)

ok so i think my clones are dying, but i dont understand because i did everyrthing right.

i clipped from the lower, nice looking branches. i trimmed the fan leaves in half. i cut at a forty five degree angle. i wore latex gloves and sterilized everything.

i dipped the ends in cloning gel and put them into peat pucks. put them in make shift domes and put them under a 20/4 light cycle with the mother.

the middle section of one clone is turning brown and drooping and they just look like they will die.

here is a pic of my grow cab, i just finished putting it together and now i need to mylar that thing up and figure out ventilation.









any advice about the clones?

i dont know if this helps but i clipped a beautiful branch for a clone and the top where the head is coming out of the stalk turned brown, shrivled, drooped and it smells terrible.

i dont have a picture of it at the moment.
