Northwest Outdoor 2010 2nd grow with pics!!!

I use Harvest Moon Organics for nutes, I used to use the botanicare, but was sold on the Harvest moon by my garden shop guy and have been happy and I like that I am using a true organic. For soil I am using Sunshine mix #4. My 2 best indicas are in 25 or so gallon pots, with the bottom 1/3 filled with the clay pellets usually used for hydro. These 2 took 1 of the bales of soil. My G13 is in a 5 gallon with the pellets too, and the rest in 2-3 gallon pots for now. I am glad to read that they can handle down close to freezing and be ok. I remember growing trainwreck a few years ago and if I am not mistaken this is when I learned about fans/strength, I never knew it was a trait, thought it was me lol. I am glad this site seems cool so far, on alot of forums, I see alot of mis-information passed, and alot treat those with low thread counts bad sometimes, I havent seen that here so much, so I joined, a first for me on a grow site.... when I started out, I read alot on forums, I did awesome first 2-3 times, then kept learning and adding tecniques and ideas, then got really bad.... lol, my guy helped to ground me and start over fresh, that was in 07 and I have been doing pretty good since, but see so much room for potential. I will take some pics tomorrow and post as time allows.

Here are some pictures from today. They are liking the temps in mid 80's every day. Gave them a full dose of Liquid karma, Cal Mag and Grow formula. The last three pics are of the lemon diesel. They must have grown almost a foot in the last 5 days :weed:

I'm down in the valley about 400 feet. Yes last year I started putting the girls out about the start of june. I harvested about october 15th or so. Here are some pics of a couple plants. The largest plant I got over a pound. I was very happy for my first grow. Do you have any threads going??? Here are some pics :weed:
amazing looking plants :) keep it up

Here are a couple pic's of a trainwreck I threw in the yard about a 2 weeks ago. It was in a 1 gallon pot and sprung up to about 2 and 1/2 feet. I toped it a couple days ago and transplanted yesterday in about a 3 gallon pot. I put it in sideways to try a little lst. Never tried this before. I want to keep her short. I will update pictures to see how it grows now.

Looking great man. Very bushy. I need to find a wide open field like that for my grow next year. Mine all look like christmas trees.

Was taking the hike into the patch and there was a brush fire that was still smoldering. Had me a little worried at first but it wasn't even close to the patch. The girls were really thirsty after a week of no water. I let them have a good drink then i'll go back in a couple days to give them more. The weather has been perfect in the 80's and 90's for some time now and doesn't look like its going to change anytime soon. They are really enjoying it and growing like weeds. Here are some pic's of the girls and some fire damage.

Looking very nice, yes they looked very thirsty indeed! Good luck with your grow. I had some seeds a friend gave me and the plants look very much like the lemon diesel you are growing, but he said they are NYC diesel, very similar looking, cool!!

It took me weeks to find my spot. Try google maps thats how I found the opening I used just trying to find a way in there was a pain with a lot of blackberries. A old tree fell over and as I walked down it thats how I found the the way in. After I got closer I found a few small ponds right next to the patch. They are looking like they will have water year round. I was planning on going back and forth to the river which would have been WAY more work. Thats why I went with more plants :weed:

Nice. Yeah my spots aren't that bad. Took me a long time to find them too. I didn't want to have to, but I took a few trees down that were blocking me and that opened up a little more light. I think if I gave them more indoor veg time I could have bushed them out more, but I didn't have the room or proper equipment at the time. Haha, thats funny, I actually did try google maps, but the pictures they took in my area were either taken in the fall or early spring so there were no leaves on the trees at the time. It was hard trying to judge where the natural clearings were. Haha, I thought I was so clever with the google map idea. I ending up just going on my local knowledge of the area with a lot of scouting and a little luck. I have a pretty small grow going, but if things work out this year I plan on going much bigger next year. Finding good spots is going to be a much bigger priority. Stealth was my main concern this year since the woods I planted in get a good bit of traffic. A lot of people out walking their dogs, ATV riders, and kids go out that area a lot to drink and party. Next year I'm going to try an area that is a little more remote where I can drop 5-10 plants in more open areas and not have to be so paranoid about someone stumbling on them. Ever worry about hunters? There isn't any hunting seasons open here from about mid May until mid October, so I'm good with that as long as they finish in time which they should since mine just started flowering. Any flowers on your girls yet?

No problems with hunters in this area. Some fisherman here (including myself) as its close to a big river. I haven't seen any signs of flowering yet but it looks like more and more people are starting to see it. So i'll be looking.

I'm curious how the lemon diesel turns out. Do you know how long it takes to harvest your diesel indoors from start of flower??? I have a friend that said he had a diesel strain and it took 10 weeks.

Here are a couple pic's from my hike. Looks like they are starting to flower. I'm starting to see some white hairs and more pistols. Next trip I'll mix nutes for the transition to flowering.
