There’s more points for you to read when you come back online here farmer Jim. Maybe you’re mixing up a batch of your special super soil and brewing up some teas and don’t have time to respond with your vast knowledge of feeding with liquid salts?

i add it at the end.... i could be very wrong about this so someone let me know if im missing somehting...

u just dont want the ph going up too high ... precipitate and all.

i add my nuitrients tio the RDWC.. ph is around 5.8... i add my silica.. like 20ppm... ph goes up to 6.0 basically.... i just add it slowly to it doesnt skyrocket the ph too fast... but ya i thin if u just trickle it in without letting the ph get too high ud be all good...

i dont ever flush my hydro system.. so i couldnt add it first even if i wanted to... this has worked fine to the best of my knowledge but please lemme know if i got a blind spot here

It’s better to put the silica in first wait 30 min then add your base and at the end calmag if needed

I learned the hard way and added ArmorSI last and got the cloudiness. Now I add it before everything else

A lot of us don't run CalMag, but we put the Mag Sulfate (epsom salts) in after/with the base, then add the CalNit after that.

In all honesty tho, I do it a bit different..

I use a 3-part dry salt nute, consisting of a base nute (Jacks), epsom salts, and CalNit.

From that I made a "2-part" liquid concentrate @ around 80x strength. Part A is Jacks (3:1) + Epsom Salts (1:1), and Part B is CalNit (2:1)

Next I take a new large container (or a pre-res, if you will) of RO and add sufficient amount of Part A to hit an EC number at or above your final desired EC. Then add an equal amount of Part B. At this point, the goal is to have a concentration that is approx 2x the desired final EC. This is the "nute concentrate".

Then I take another mini-res full of RO water, and add Si to approx double my desired Si ppm. Let sit for 30+ minutes if possible.

Finally I will take these two mini-res (one with nute concentrate and one with Si water), and mix them into my res at whatever ratio I need to achieve final desired EC. At that point my Si ppm is only like 60, so they can play nice together without the risk of cloudiness.

Also at the end I add a bit of Fulvic Acid and Seaweed, and perhaps a hit of PK boost.

Well, like I said, I have very little "knowledge of feeding with liquid salts". I thought I made that perfectly clear. What is also clear is that some of the points you refer to, in the above posts, seem a bit comlicated and tedious. I think I'll just stick with simple organics. Have a nice day!
