Good job, brotha!

I started growing indoors with a homemade grow box. The inside was 35 x 35 inches and was seven feet tall. It was in our garage, and I piped in air from the house and exhausted out the gable end of the house. I got it dialed in with four seven gallon pots, under a scrog. I made a homemade feeding system because watering under the scrog was hard on my back. I mounted transmission funnels to the walls that used 1 inch plastic tubing to a T to make a loop around the plants. It worked well the last few years I averaged 16 oz per cycle.

Anyways I like your set up and think you will do very well. It obviuosly brought back fond memories. Best of luck.

Thank you.

I'm sure it will scale up. Its like a bug.

I'm an outdoor guerilla guy. Thought I would play around indoors a little.

Thinking about going diy cob. I read the Luna opto thread and saw those big chips. I sent an email to Luna. Waiting to hear back.

The weather is so unpredictable here. Summers over 100 and high humidity.

This year lost a lot to rot. It stayed 90-100 most of flowering here with humidity well into the 60's+. Rain every other day. Hell it rained all spring. We set quit a few records this year.

I like the control of indoors.

I know where there is an abandoned factory that I used to work maintenance at. I know the owners. When and if it goes legal here I'm going all out. Balls to the wall.

Good luck with the spinosad. I did 4 applications, once every other night. I always mixed it with agsil and aloe. The first time I added a couple drops of rosemary essential oil to the spray. The last night I added some neem oil. Did the trick nicely :D
Bro you got mites in hawaii? Glad you've taken care of them! The two dotted mites on west/north side are a pain indoor!

Yes, they do scale up. My current room is a scaled up version of that box more or less.

I used to grow outdoors gorilla style as well. When medical became legal here, I moved indoors and built the box I described. And then I bought our home we live in now, and I built rooms in a pole barn. And the same ideas went into my rooms. Electric up high, intakes low, exhaust high, plenty of plugs, insulate for noise and heat and the list goes on. But all things I learned on that box.

I lost entire summer time grows in the beginning too. I used a 600 watt light and our garage got well over 100 on hot days. So I had troubles with heat, and stressed plants are magnets for bugs. So I lost a whole crop once.

I learned compost tea is great for plants under stress, and if need be turn down lightts. You lose some yield but have heathier plants, with better buds. I also flowered at night and used multiple fans and ran a lot of air through that box in summer. And since I just grew for myself then, I would shut down from late summer until about October. I miss that now.

Same here. Run my lights at night. My cab is quiet enough there have been people within feet of it and never knew.

Sativa's my friend. They fair far better in hot humid climate. Probably the reason they grow long spread out wispy buds.

I found the purer the sativa, the better.
Though sometimes it is impossible to stop and lose everything.

Do you have any particular outdoor humid handling strains or know anything that would work well.. I know they list it on some seeds when purchasing but I don't have 1st hand experience

I don't see the need. I've used containers like this outdoors with no problems. The wall is like a quarter inch thick.

It is a 4 ft 8 bulb unit. The bulbs are double stacked. It has 8 bulbs and 18 inches wide.

This is the light.
Thanks for the link to the light. Really looking forward to seeing this one finish up as well. I used to grow under a 8 bulb fixture in 5 gallon hempys with 1part Flora nutes. Averaged right around 100 ish grams per plant. did 4 plants. Some strains did better then others. C99 was one I proly grew the most. I also found that 24 hours of darkness in the flip transition increased how quickly it went to stretch. At least for the c99. No empirical proof of that, just seemed to start stretch faster when i gave it that vs not.

I see you using all these soaps and things for mites, have you tried neem oil? And did you include any neem in your soil mix?

That's what I do, look at the breeder info.

My c99 did OK this year. A few spots in it.
Seedsman skunk haze.
Seedsman Hawaiian crosses when they have them
Bomb seeds THC bomb. The cheese bomb I have now looks similar in structure. I'll know when its done.

I don't remember who breed it. The strawberry blue freebie from Herbie's did good.

I'm drawing a blank. I'll have to look back at my orders and I'll remember what was good.

Any haze I've grown has done good.
I've had quite a few pure indica's do good.

I'll add more as I think of them.

Unusual warm temps for this time of year. Temps are back up to 90 at lights on. Starting to cause problems.

Also the plants didn't like the two applications of spinosad. It burnt the pistils.

So I have some yellowing. I'll put pics up later.

I suspect some of it is from using my tap water again. I let one of the rain catches fill back up and using it again.
I will adjust my timer by a few hours to. I had it 7-7 to allow me time to work in the cab. I will adjust 10-10 or 11-11. About 11 it starts warming up.
