Look how white Christians with guns and guts fighting for freedom is dividing the hardest of the hard core republican base. Trump and his minions are on the wrong side of this issue, usually foreign policy doesn't matter, but this has become an emotional issue and the imagery resonates deeply with parts of their base. I must say CPACs timing was wonderful and so was Trump's, both feet in his mouth at once.

That's my point, wars are often good for presidents, especially this kind, there are many flavors and America has tasted a few. It is politically advantageous for Joe to go all in for the Ukrainians and supply the Hell out of them, I also think he personally likes the idea of having Vlad by the balls and the fight for liberal democracy on his door step and in his face.
Eastern Poland is going to become a vast NATO training camp for Ukraine forces and the refugees will be spread around other countries. Air America/NATO might arise where Ukrainian pilots fly junk cargo planes on resupply missions into besieged cities. As long as they can hold western Ukraine with short NATO supply lines, there will be war.
