i think you will be fine, also at this stage i think its difficult to overwater, thats more for when they are smaller. i mean u obviously dont want to let them sit in water but if the container has drainage you will be fine

Thanks, and don't be mad at me cause I asked the same thing twice, being my first grow makes me a bit to paranoid. I'll wait for another 2-3 days before giving water. I am thinking...even now I have some gnats, if I'll give water now, I will not harm the plant as you said, but the little fuckers will multiply like...gnats :)
 
Day 75 with 26 into flowering. Plant is well, no new issues. Soil almost dry so I will water tomorrow. Had the misfortune and one of my 35 w 6500k DL died. I'll try to go and buy another one today but I think the store will be closed...
 
I want to do some research since I have some free time. Research regarding difference between sativa and indica; ways of indoor growing( I found some amazing PC growers on this forum, for me it's a new thing) and differences between light types for indoor growing ( types, which one are better etc) I am trying to accumulate knowledge for future grows.

I found e very nice article about the differences between Sativa and Indica. I will try to make a summary maybe. I am thinking a lot of new growers, like myself, don't know really the difference. So from this article...certainly my next grow will be something sativa or as much as possible sativa predominance. Even if it will take longer for the plant to grow, but the result and expectations are important. I mean...I prefer an energetic type of smoke.

"Indica....higher CBD than THC equals heavier, sleepy type of high. Yield is usually higher than Sativa, and shorter growing season. Better for indoor growing, because they don't get as tall.

Sativa....higher THC than CBD equals cerebral, soaring type of high, more energetic Yield is usually lower than Indica, but is very potent. eg: Thai Sativa grow taller and have a longer flowering period, so they are better suited for outdoors."


And I am guessing as well, after the reading I made that my girl is indica predominance due to the shape of the leaves. Maybe has a bit of sativa as well due to the tallness and it's not that bushy, but the predominance is indica.

Fat Leaves and Short Bush = INDICA
Thin Leaves and Tall Bush = SATIVA

Day 76 with 27 into flowering. The girl looks happy, the soil was dry so I gave her 4.5 liters of water with an addition of epsom salt in it and 3 cups of MG. Otherwise she is fine. I'll go today into the city to buy and replace the broken light bulb and I'll take some pics after.
 
And next time I'll water, I'll make sure that I will prepare some eggshelss and I'll add it to her( going eco :))
 
eggshells are Ca rich but they do take time to break down

the finer you grind them up the faster the nutrients will become available.
 
look at them buds holy moley, your plant looks great Perkele :) keep up the good work, your gonna have some nice buds in just a couple weeks
 
day 77 with 28 into flowering ( so...4 weeks since flowering :mrgreen: ) The plant looks well, no new issues. Last evening, I just turned the heater a bit lower and the temp in the wardrobe was about 20 degrees. Usually I am keeping it at 22. Maybe I am paranoid but I felt a blueberry smell there. Kind of sweet smell. Hopefully 2-3 more weeks to go (?) what do you think?
 
Day 78 with 29 into flowering. The plant looks good, no new issues. Soil still moist. Will keep monitoring her and will wait patient for her to be ready.
 
general rule of thumb is 8 week flower, and i think that begins when the first bud starts to develop not when you flip the light schedule but i may be wrong :)
 
photo period plants flower at different rates depending on environment...8 weeks from start of 12/12 is just an estimate...some sooner.... some later.... checking trichomes is the most accurate way to tell if she is ready, when all trichomes are cloudy she is at peak ;)

then there is also hybrids or sativas that can take even longer...thats why i say to check trichomes .... cuz most are not sure what type of plant they have.

time is irrelevant when it comes to plants...we follow time.... not plants.... ;) they will show us when they are ready ...we just have be patient and wait for the plant tell us she is ready to chop! ;)
