They eat pretty much anything they can put in their gobs, mostly bugs and small mamals and reptiles, but they have been known to nab birds and bats in flight by jumping out of the tall grass like a fucking Super Sayian
but they aint even cats. they are a unique family of critters with a couple species.

I did read about them, but the wiki page is to the point, to say the least.
For instance, it clearly describes the civet as a carnivore, but fails to mention what it preys upon..? Like if I owned one of these things, would I need to worry about it eating my face?
I did read that the classic Chanel-5 fragrance is a civet musk production though

they are classed as carnivores but they will eat anything they caaan stuff in their mouths, and the asian plam civet is almost exclusively vegetarian, with a serious hankering for coffee cherries. civets are best described as active, nimble and voracious opportunistic omnivores.

Mambas are killers for sure. I love watching doc on the black and green mambas, more specifically the black mamba; cuz it's badass.

It is extremely venomous but also quite shy. You have to really **** with one to get the bite.
I remember when Steve Irwin was still making TV, and he had that wonderful thick backcountry "Strine" while describing Snikes, esp the Westan Brine Snike <cough> Western Brown Snake.
The most venomous proved to be what he called a Fierce Snake, which Google informs me is the Inland Taipan.
There's an effective antivenin now, so deaths aren't common. cn
