Probably Worst Honey Oil Atempt Ever With Pictures

Alright so tonight I decided to take all my vaporized weed and try to make some honey oil with it. Normally I make butter with my vaporized pot, but I wanted to try to make honey oil, seeing as I couldn`t find really any posts on the internet of anyone doing this, and if it works or not. I always have lots of vaporized weed (usually a pound ever month), so I figured it was worth a try. I went and bought $100 worth of butane, some 6 inch pvc pipe with caps, and some gauze to use as a filter. I put together my homemade, oversized, honey oil extractor, filled it up with the weed, and started spraying the butane through. After about ten 5oz cans of butane, there was still nothing coming out of the bottom, I started getting a little worried, but I was already committed and couldn`t stop. After finishing all 45 cans of butane, still nothing. I let it sit and rest for ten minutes, to see if maybe it was just going to take a while to go through. Nothing. What the fuck. So I opened the bottom of the extractor to see if the butane even made it to the bottom. Nope, the butane had only made it to about three quarters of the way down. I cannot continue, I have bought all the butane I can find, my extractor is to large. I will keep it, stock up on butane, and when I have 120 cans, I think then I will have enough butane to wash through the entire container. But in the end it will probably not be worth it, the butane will cost me $300, and hoping that is enough to make it through the hold container, who knows what the final product will be like, after all I am just using vaporized weed. My suggestion, always make butter with your vaporized pot, cheap, efficient, and it will mess you right up.

Hey i've got an idea, Dont use such a big fucking extractor next time. To be completely blunt, i mean what in the hell where you thinking making something that big? Did you do ANY reading on how to make BHO? Do multiple small runs and you wouldnt have ever had this problem.


All in all i guess you learned an expensive lesson today. Oh and for fucks sake, please don't run 300 cans of butane threw that tube. I hope that part was a joke 0_o

Holy never seen someone so upset over someone else wasting money lol. I thought about making a smaller one but in theory, I didn't have enough butane to wash all the weed I had in my lage extractor. So if using a smaller extractor with multiple runs, I am still wash the same amount of weed, so it still would take the same amount of butane to wash it all, but I would of had results now. It would take $300 of butane to wash all of this pot even if using a smaller extractor, vapovrized pot is much lighter then regular weed and the amount I had was lots. The only mistake i made was not buying enough in the first place, now that is wasted but im not upset, surely not as much as you seem to be lol.

This fucker's extractor is way bigger then the OP's. Must've had to use like 600 cans.

Not upset at all, Just flabbergasted that somebody would actually run 45 cans of butane thru one BIG ass pvc tube at one time without it coming out of the bottom.. Carry on. Do film it though. =D

The people in that video used 12 cans total....not 45. And certainly not 120 like the OP is planning. But hey im not gonna stop you =P
Although as i just stated, when you do this, PLEASE film it. And notice the glass extractor?

i will flim it but i going to rebuild one like the one in the video, his was only a 1/4 pound i have much more proably wont need 120, but they are small cans, to get triple refined i can only buy these smaller $2 cans. n yes no i did read some things on extractors but i was just messing around if it was real weed i wouldnt screw around but this is vapourized weed, and yes i might be wasting money on butane, but that dont matter to me i would be more concerned about the money i waste gambling. I just had nothing to do all day today and thought this might bef fun, didnt work i learned from my mistakes and now i will try again. and about getting sick why do you get sick with pvc, i thought that all the ones you can buy are made from pvc and most the sites i found say to uses pvc.

Negative. I wouldn't run a solvent through PVC then smoke the product. Not taking the chance. Look into PVC and then make the decision. Im not telling you what to do. Stainless steel is good.

i think i going to go with a glass tube, well thats if i can find one that will be able to take the pressure and the cold, i like the idea of being able to see the butane go dowm

Lol no PVC? Stainless is cheaper. I think what happened with yours is it was to wide. The butane wasn't pressurizing enough to be forced out the end.

that could of been it to when looking over it again it did make it to the bottom but just there and only in one small spot. I going to try and copy the one from that video they only used 6 cans for 1 run with a qp so there method works well

Ya I usualy make butter with mine and it always makes very potent butter. I just thought it would be fun to give this a try, I was just messing around. And now I can't find any butane anywhere in the town I live in. Might have to wait to try again or just toss it out. Buddy of mine said try to make oil with IPA instead, but I dont think I will, I don't like that green oil it makes. But next month I should have another pound of vaporized weed, I'll make the new extractor, and let everyone know how it turns out. oh ya and I record the process, and it still will be a large on just not wide, I will try to fit 1/2 pound in it and will do 2 runs.
