can't give up rep ... but once i can i willYeah, but don't let the "empire" part fool ya. And thanks!
Yeah, I can't rep you either. Gotta spread the love elsewhere first, even if you don't "mean" it just so that you can rep those to whom you do "mean" again. No worries though! Rep is cool and all, but not a huge deal. I do it as a "thank you" or "great job" and the likes, which I can also say with actual words.can't give up rep ... but once i can i will
What's so funny about all of that, is that it's true! I've read a lot of posts from guys making much less respectful remarks comparing MJ plants to women, if ya know what I mean! Part of me would love to say something, but this is indeed a male-dominated hobby, so I just keep my mouth shut instead of coming off as some uptight prissy. But the truthful humor is always welcome!lookin good kat...this is solcyns girlfriend...heeeeeey guuuuurl!
too cool another chick lets show these boys how its done....lol..j/k guys
back to your babies they look very happy...my man always tells me the plants are just like women; they have very specific needs and conditions, their beautiful, they bring u lots of love and happyness if takin care of but will give u a life of grief and worry if they feel neglected, they love to be tied up..lol, and every one stares at there huge tops....he's soo silly the funny thing is when we smoke he'll go on for an hour with new ones he just thinks of....such a man...lol
but yea from the looks of it your girls are loving the BDSM, lil freaks....lol
i posted some new pics on my gj gurl so if u have time come look at my babies...damn i cant even call the babies anymore...i would say teenagers cause there tops are still fillin out..lol
cya there
I think they're not only gorgeous, but also a great preview of what's to come for mine!Hey Kat.. since u the only one doing a Blue Hash .. i wanted to show you mine.. what u think??
Thanks! I can't walk past them without admiring them! They always make me smile.Man, are those plants ever gorgeous, just gorgeous...
Thank you WB, you're very kind! Gardening really is easy, whether house plants or pot. It's just a matter of learning what each particular plant likes. But when you encounter a problem such as pythium (root rot), it's sooo not easy! I'm just so glad that they're recovered and are flourishing as if nothing had happened!
I've said it before and I'll say it again.... there are simply not enough lady growers "coming out" and I'm thrilled to see that I'm not quite as much a "rarity" around here as I'd thought. ANYHOOO, checked out and subbed to your GJ.
Hey there Kat! Glad to hear you corrected that pythium problem.
My girls are blooming nicely despite the adverse conditions.
I notice there aren't too many of us females around here too. Its nice to meet you as well and learning about your grow.
Take care, ttyl.

kat is absolutly correct..this hobby of ours is no different than cooking,,start with the best ingredients (seeds/clones) make sure u have a nice clean well ventalated kithcen (grow room) and all the right herbs and spices ( nutrients/supplements) then all u gotta do is follow the recipe religiously and i promise u whatever u make will b deliciousThank you WB, you're very kind! Everything's been going smoothly! Well, I performed an unintentional topping but otherwise all's been great.
Yeah, so day before yesterday I was tightening the BDSM ties. Plant "B" was the last in line, and by far has the thickest & strongest trunk/stems, but that's the one whose top came off.... I had a firm yet gentle hold on the plant with one hand, and as I twisted the tie back into place my other hand slipped. No damage done, but I wasn't going to top until after they'd all grown tied around the pots' edges, and then only if it looks like I'll need to top in order to have a good yield. I didn't want to wait for regrowth after topping if I could avoid it. Oh well, what's done is done, and I was planning on taking cuttings from each anyway. So into the AeroGarden the trimmed top went. I also took a cutting from the NL ("D"), as one of the secondary shoots (that one would have been pruned off later to allow for air circulation and watering in the center of the pot) already had six nodes. Once I've got a cutting from all four, I'll put the AG in my hall closet (which is right under the house's main cooler) set to 12/12, just to sex the plants. The LST has really encouraged rapid growth from the "dormant" bud sites!
I also put two more NL seeds to germ on the 23rd. They both sprouted on the 25th (two days from germ to sprout again!), and I transplanted them into 4" planters last night. I'm curious if they'll catch up with the others, since their growth was all but stopped for a couple of weeks. I know they'll do just fine; the NL's growth has been the best overall, and it also took the least "beating" from all the stress due to the pythium. So that brings me to my six plant legal limit, as I just don't see how I can do a perpetual setup just yet until we buy a house and I have a larger room with actual doors and walls surrounding it to keep out light. Still working on brainstorming though, in the hopes that I'll come up with an idea that'll work for separate veg/flower areas in this house.
Well, that's all that's gone on with my little indoor garden.
They're blowing me away! My son came to visit, and he was shocked to hear that they'd just gotten through a fairly bad case of pythium! He also grows.... keepin' it in the family!Plants are looking great!!Nice and Bushy & Green ..!!
When I wanna be....Nice kat!!
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!nah, just moved "up" from the ag to the bp, and then to soil to combat the extreme heat where i live.
