I'm saying I'd raise my kid to know that tanning beds are quite bad for you. It's self-harm up there with smoking tobacco or riding a motorcycle without a helmet. My house my rules: if he wants to stay, he won't engage in plainly self-destructive behavior. cn

Okay so lets say your gay kid goes to a tanning bed every day, looks like tanned leather, has bleached white hair, sneaks boys into your basement that always smells like a rotted butthole.
Okay yeah and lets say that the bucked tooth muslim is a telemarketer, who always wears a turbin regardless of what nationality he really is(you really are). Fakes a heavy accent, and is believably islam if you didnt know any better. However people turn the other directions in elevators... You know stereotypical stuff

I have some issues still with your question...
1.) You're making this purely about young men...
2.) You associate the term gay with only men...
3.) What does a persons choice of headwear matter, How is that a nationality issue and where the heck did you pull that part from..?
4.) What the hell is believably islam..? how can an individual be believably a religion..?

I understand your methods though, but I think sometimes as a parent things get a little more emotional than 'stay here or leave'
BUT. Id probably kick my kid out if they turned either of the two choices, I must say, if they are like that then there is obviously something wrong in the upstairs.
Which brings a whole new thing.

You have a point there too, but you never know with parenting.. Its a hard thing to do haha. Id like to say all these things that my kid is gonna do, and what I am going to do with them, but as with anything else I guess you kind have to play it by ear. I don't know, I think my father did a good job, I'm not too worried. I do agree though how you are raised has a lot to do with life decisions
But this thread wasn't too serious I have to say, I was kinda just typing lol there was no true thought put into it. I just thought Id get some people to get angry I was in quite a destrctuve mood
