The only cures in seed form I believe. I could be wrong tho, but I don't think the seeds embryonic cells can support the spores of any fungal pathogen. I'll look into it for you.
oh there is a cure, but it's nasty shit made by DOW chemical.

EDIT: never heard of the downy mildew....

Spend $101.
Grabbed a bulb and some General Organics "Bio Marine", which is cold processed squid. I love the GO line and have great harvests using it. It's a great liquid fertilizer that's 100% no bullshit Organic. The squid is my favorite out of the line because it is cold processed and enzymatically digested. This shit is gold, and I have seen huge improvement from using it in my AACT's.
I also grabbed 2 bare root View attachment 3532058 View attachment 3532059 basil clones that were freebies on the counter.

I wish I could kiss. I have a wire wall shelf that 10' long, 7/8 full of nutrient, all different and each has their own use. Every grow is different and proper nutrient management varies in aproach from plant to plant.

The new bulb is working great and no more flickers. Much brighter than the other. I left off the light spreader too. That thing is a pain in the ass and I'm not convinced of its claims to EVENLY distribute the light. I've still noticed Hotspot while using it. That was a waste of $35. Live and learn I guess.

do you run veggies in your indoor tent? if so, what kind of light cycles do they prefer... 16/8 or 18/6 for tomatoes and peppers? and what kinda lumens do you think they'd make it with minimum? the greens i'm not worried about, they're so easy to grow. the veg space i have now is going to be turned into a 3x4 no-till veggie bed with the compost i have cooking right now. i bought my first heads of lettuce yesterday in like 6+ months. unacceptable :) i hate buying produce! shit goes bad so fast. i need to get me some stuff going. ugh, the work of a gardener is never complete is it? well indoors anyway!

Yes I do run veggies. I mainly go for tomatoes and peppers. This is the first year I'm doing cucumbers and peas indoors. It's mainly for salsa, as I love it way too much. Cilantro, onions, avacado and super hot peppers I usually will just buy when I need them. Pretty cheap all except the avacado.

The lights run at 20/4 for right now because of the autoflowers, but when they're done, I'll drop it to 18/6. I prefer to use 7000k MH for the veg portion and flip on the 2 led boosters (630, 660 only) when the plants need some extra reds.
My plantmax bulb has some pretty good reds in it so the boosters will excentuate that end of the spectrum. Basically it's like having a dual arc bulb. All my produce veggies are indeterminate and grow while they produce fruit so a full spectrum is best imho.

As far as lumens, I'd say 60,000 is probably a good start and as low as I'd go. Light is energy, you can't have too much. Well within reason of course.

right on. 18/6 is what i was thinking. thanks for the spectrum tips. i will also be growing indeterminate varieties. i fuked up big time and didn't take any sucker clones off of my tomato and pepper plants before the frost. i hate starting from seed, takes so long!!! i need to get them going now lol. i'm just tired of buying. it was a pretty successful year for me though, i barely bought any produce from the store thanks to my deck i tore out and turned into 3x8 square foot garden beds. now if i would have been smart enough to do it last year, not till and just build compost piles in the beds and plant into that in the spring... that woulda been great! probably would have added peat and pumice too since it's so cheap. live AND learn!

Check out dorm grow G8LED. I have 2 red boosters from them and love them. Here's a pic. BIG TIME RED!
since I bought them 2 years ago, I haven't had a need for an HPS. Plus there's no way a HPS could get the far into the red end of the spectrum. Add these 2 boosters to the MH and I have the ideal spectrum.1446309912426.jpg1446310011212.jpg

Oleic acid is most likely the "penatrator" and emulsifier , geranium oil I am completely unfamiliar with. I thought geraniums were plagued with diseases.
Is it 100% guaranteed, money back?
I'd roll the dice if I were you.

yeah i know right... 100% guaranteed?? fo' realzies???

what sucks is the thing is a bottle of water with 3% of the real stuff... i could probably source some geranium oil myself and emulsify it.

speaking of emulsifiers... what do you prefer? seems like a lot of folks are using agsil (potassium silicate). any suggestions? ive been using dr. bronners castile soap but wonder how much emulsifying it really does, being that it's mostly oil itself...
