Ron Paul is not only a Doctor but also a student of Economics. He founded the F.R.E.E. Foundation (The Foundation for Rational Economics and Education) as a vehicle to increase understanding of the economic principles of a free-market society. Dr. Paul has been speaking out against the Government for its financial mismanagement and wasteful spending for years only to be marginalized and ignored not only by his colleagues in Washington but also by the Main Stream Media. Things in America are so bad now that people are finally starting to listen especially because he has been making these predictions years before they come to fruition. We need a strong, knowledgeable President who can lead us out of this disaster as our economy is on the brink of collapse and Dr. Ron Paul is that Leader!

I love how Bernanke tries to pin inflation to the price of oil per barrell when Ron Paul specifically mentioned oil valued against gold value is a flat correlation while oil valued against the dollar has skyrocketed. Not because oil is any more expensive, the dollar has been devalued that much.
Same for the rising prices of gold and silver today. Have you even seen a dvd titled "The Money Masters"? Its over 3 hours long but details the history of the Fed, etc. Pure evil they are.

I don't think I have seen that one, Ill be sure to check it out, to be honest I am not that much into economics but I am into films, I do have a good understanding of it and was taking an economics course when this housing bubble stuff was going and this is one of the things that started to really turn me on to Ron Paul.
My favorite aspect of the video is the nervous tone in Bernanke's voice on this video..
Folks if you haven't done it, do some thorough investigative research on the financial crisis and you will determine Ron Paul was right about the whole thing just as my entire class EVENTUALLY concluded. Why do the young flock to Ron Paul? its not as the NPR report concluded, there is more to this story, one reason we flock to Ron Paul is because we still have the energy to go to school and we have to write research papers about current issues while the old people are listening to NPR.

right on man, but you can't vote for Ron paul in the primary unless your register as a republican, Ron paul must win the republican nomination to go against Obama and become president. So that is the plan right now, voter registration bomb, tell all your democrat and independent friends to register as republican for the sole purpose of getting Ron Paul elected, its no big deal, this is what we must do.

ANKENY, Iowa -- Saying the mood of the country "has definitely changed" from four years ago, presidential candidate Ron Paul said he thinks more people are coming around to his economic and foreign policy ideas. Speaking on Monday at his Iowa campaign headquarters in Ankeny, Paul said war is a drain on the economy and it's an "economic fallacy" that such engagements can pull a country out of a depression.
"If a person is a conservative and likes limited government, it's during wartime that government grows," he said.
International aid can do more harm than good for allied nations, Paul said. He said the recent incident between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is evidence of that.
"Israel has been too willing to give up their sovereignty, take our money, and then they have to take their orders from us," Paul said. "I am convinced it is in the best interest of everybody not to be dependent on others. National sovereignty is a good idea, as a matter of fact, I think state sovereignty is a good idea."
At the mention of state sovereignty, a few cheers came from the crowd of about six dozen.
The 12-term Texas congressman was in Ankeny to introduce members of his county organization and get the endorsement of Rep. Glenn Massie, a conservative Republican freshman House member from Des Moines.
The anti-war sentiment from Paul was exactly what attracted 27-year-old Justin Jensen of Cedar Falls, Iowa, to the event. Jensen, a recent graduate from Northern Iowa University who works as a waiter and is a co-chairman of the Paul campaign in Black Hawk County, said he voted for Obama in 2008.
Now, he's disappointed.
"A lot of it is because of what Obama said about the war," said Jensen, who got Paul to sign a bumper sticker for him. "I know there are a lot of students in my political science classes who felt the same way."

that is a reason the Republicans have not been very aggressive with their campaigns early. The winner will have to face Obama who will not have to spend money on the nomination.
Ron Paul never said anything remotely close to what you falsely accuse him off in his newsletters. It has been debunked many times before by individuals who have interacted with Ron Paul.
The newsletter had changed hands and although Ron Paul did not write them said he had a 'moral" obligation to pay attention to something with his name on it. NOT ONE member of Congress has said he is racist. In fact they say the opposite.
How would Ron Paul be destroyed in a debate? Did you miss the 2008 republican debates? What could they possible bring up?
Ron Paul was right about the housing crisis from day one. He tried to pass a bill in Congress to reverse it.
Ron Paul was right about the reasons for the attack on 9/11 from day one. He also warned us ahead of time that we would be attacked if we continued our current foreign policies in the Middle East. In 2003 Ron Paul was right when he mentioned Osama is probably in Pakistan.
When Osama was finally killed (props to Obama) it was by using a small unit exactly like Ron Paul told us to do in 2001 when he mentioned letters or marque and reprisals.
"A "letter of marque and reprisal" would involve permission to cross an international border to effect a reprisal (take some action against an attack or injury) authorized by an issuing jurisdiction to conduct reprisal operations outside its borders."
"The attacks were defined as acts of "air piracy" and the Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001 was introduced, which would have granted the president the authority to use letters of marque and reprisal against the specific terrorists, instead of warring against a foreign state. The terrorists were compared to pirates in that they are difficult to fight by traditional military means. Congressman Paul also advocated the use of letters of marque to address the issue of Somali pirates operating in the Gulf of Aden on April 15, 2009. However, the bills Congressman Paul introduced were not enacted into law."
