I did not say what you claimed I said. You claimed I said I think less of people who corrected people. I did not say that. I said I think less of people who correct typos on the internet. That is an extremely big difference.

You're digging quite a big hole for yourself here. My advice would be to stop digging.

lol "meltdown" I am laying in bed stoned, it is your opinion dude...If you think Ron Paul's a racist, I happen to disagree, and on the actual vote thing I wasn't correct, your right, I agreed on that imedietly but you just keep carrying on not reading even your own posts apparently:

Would a Texas NAACP President (Nelson Linder) come out in the open in defense of a racist?

In the 35 years and THOUSANDS of public speeches, of his political career, Ron Paul has never been heard speaking in such ways. You'd think SOMEBODY would've personally heard him make a racist remark if he was INDEED racist?

agreed on all counts.

i think he knew the racist stuff was being written, but just as sex sells, so does controversy and we know he made money off it.

ron the paul profited from incendiary racism.

oh, and one more thing to all the ron paul worshippers who are unable to see this issue clearly...let me just say this: unelectable.
The worst thing about this is all the lying and denials. If he would have come out and been honest about this, this wouldn't have been a big deal and it would have already gone away. It's a problem because his story is obviously a lie and everyone knows it. John McCain voted against MLK's birthday as a national holiday. No one gives him a hard time about it. That's because when asked he basically said "yeah, I was young and dumb. I made a mistake. My bad.".

The American people are surprisingly forgiving when it comes to people who admit their mistakes. However when you deny and cover them up, they tend to jump on you like a rabid dog. That's what's going on here.

In baseball many players have come out and said "yeah, I took steroids, I apologize". And people have forgotten about it. But no one is going to forgive the guys who lied in front of congress for taking them any time soon. That's what this is. Ron Paul gave a denial which no one outside his cultists believe. He sticks with that denial, so people keep pressing him hoping to get the truth. That isn't some media conspiracy against Ron Paul. It's basic human nature.

Its true he voted against it, he said "the government shouldn't decide when there is holidays" or something like that. I don't think he has ever said that he voted for it, its just made up from somewhere, I don't remember where I got that from. If he did vote for it that wouldn't be libertarian at all.

No. I am correct. Here is the proof direct from the congressional voting record that Ron Paul voted against making MLK's birthday a national holiday.

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/vote.xpd?vote=h1983-289

It's a lie being put out there by Ron Paul supporters that he voted for MLK's birthday. I explained the lie in detail a few pages back.

No, actually you didn't. I just re-read the last several pages to check. You really shouldn't try those easily disprovable white lies on me. They probably work real well on fellow Ron Paul supporters, but are not very effective on people who are willing to actually verify if something is true or not. That quality is exactly what distinguishes me from a Ron Paul supporter. I don't just believe things because they sound right. I ask myself "Is that true?", then I check and make sure they are. No one who does that could possibly support Ron Paul.

Whatever dude, now your all high and mighty because your right about one thing..like I never look anything up...I am always researching, that is stupid anyway, why would a libertarian vote for a holiday? Your right about one thing now lets move on to another topic lol

That's about as convincing as the commercials David Duke did with the black kid to prove he isn't a racist.

Also, tying in large print does not make what you're saying more convincing.

You don't get it. I'm wrong very frequently. But when I am, I come out and say "I was wrong, here is why". I don't try and lie my way out of it. You and Ron Paul would be well advised to learn that lesson.

PAGE 38 I instantly said your right and challenged you on another statement. Immedietly...I am not afraid to admit I am wrong...As I did so multiple times including right away. Now Please explain why Ron Paul is a racist in YOUR OPINION if you'd like. I disagree that Ron Paul is a racist and I have done plenty of research, this does not make him a racist in MY OPINION, therefore, I disagree with YOUR OPINION.

Do you imagine a racist as someone who votes against government holidays or something? Sounds more like a holiday-ist....Sorry to rain on your little parade over absolutely nothing lol, its really a stupid lie and I am sorry for repeating because why would a libertarian or constitutionalist vote for a national holiday? They wouldn't...that was dumb and gullible of me your right, I didn't think it was correct but I just ran with it because this shit is some retarded girl talk drama that's not even relevant and it deserves to be shot down for many reasons.

Connecting the dots: the Shays/Gingrich Connection

Christopher Shays has listed former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich as his political inspiration, saying "Newt Gingrich is my hero."[7]
http://www.nytimes.com/1996/01/28/ma...pagewanted=all

^ Shays does know the details, and he admits that "there's a part of me that wonders if it's as well thought out as I'd like it to be." But, he adds, "I'll take almost any alternative over what we've got now." And on the day the measure passed the House, Shays was standing at Gingrich's side, paying homage with the familiar phrases. "What I had to wrestle with was, in my heart I thought I was a caring person," he said. "But I realized I was a caretaking person. And today, what we have shown is that we are a caring country." And then the unlikely convert concluded with the least likely words: "Newt Gingrich is my hero." Newt Gingrich, like Lance Morgan, has ties to Iran-Contra:

Is it a coincidence then that Newt Gingrich has hired Robert McFarlane as part of his advisory team on National Security? Who's Robert McFarlane?

"Robert McFarlane, one might recall, was National Security Adviser to Ronald Reagan when the Iran/Contra scandal brokeand became famous as the man who went to Iran with a cake in the shape of a key, and a Bible. McFarlane ended up pleading guilty to four misdemeanor charges related to withholding information from Congress. "

Electric Boat, whose PR is--again-- handled by Powell-Tate, was run by John Rowland, who helped Newt Gingrich get his first position in Congress http://articles.dailypress.com/1995-.../9506250066_1_...

Years later, [John Rowland] heavily lobbied then-Speaker Newt Gingrich to support the purchase of a 1.5 Billion dollar Seawolf submarine

Slack up man, we are human, humans make mistakes. What gets me is the way you're being manipulative, you attempt to
to indirectly link RP's newsletters in your first post, then you keep blaming all Ron Paul supporters, and Ron Paul by indirect
association, all the while calling us cultist. When in truth it was Deprave who made the mistake. One person singular, not all Ron Paul supporters or Ron Paul. You said yourself you had to look into it closely or it seemed as though he voted in favor.

Did Ron Paul actually state himself, that he did in fact do this??. . . .Otherwise you're beating a dead horse IMO.(1979-1983)

face it, his rise in the polls is solely due to the GOP field being so lacking. no one actually likes the guy.

Ron Paul is the only one in congress who stood up for dr. martin lutheran king jr in congress and voted for that day even though its unconstitutional and also stood up for Israel when they took out an Iranian nuclear plant in the 80's, he was again the only one in congress defending their actions and sovereignty.

come again?
You're still claiming Ron Paul voted to make MLK's birthday a holiday. He did not. After posting the proof twice the only conclusion I can come to is that you know that's a lie and are choosing to repeat it anyways.

Is it really this difficult for Ron Paul supporters to accept the fact that Ron Paul isn't 100% flawless?
