Ok I didn't think it would work but I just grabbed my gf's hair presser and holy shit it works amazing I got wax my first attempt and it smokes really good like good shatter the taste is really good I am impressed with how easy and effective this is.
I plan on trying this with some freshly harvested buds once I get desperate enough. Gotta be better than dabbing the tane soup we get in my area.

We have been making full melt dry sift for decades with one screen, and using a tumbler to make kief. I wasn't making it with 2 screens a DVD case and parchment paper until recently, now I'm making full melt dry sift that dabs and melts like butter. Things are changing and this tech looks legit. It is not the old Rosin style. Like people have said it is a new twist on that style so it has not been done like this by everyone until now. I'm sure in the coming months we will see if this is a valid product. I think it is and I'm going to try it today :)

I have researched a lot about solvent extracts. Do you know that we all use them? Soy bean oil is extracted with hexane, propane, butane and other solvents. They turn soybeans into flakes, then they blast them into oil. Then they take the flakes and clean them by degassing and washing, then they feed those flakes to animals that we eat.

facts.. 9.11.1.2 Process Description6-9 The following process description discusses only soybean oil manufacture, because emission factors are available only for that activity. Corn, cottonseed, and peanut oil processing are similar to soybean processing, except for differences in the soybean preparation for oil extraction. The process for soybeans typically consists of five steps: oilseed handling/elevator operations, preparation of soybeans for solvent extraction, solvent extraction and oil desolventizing, flake desolventizing, and oil refining.

So BHO came from farmers lol

Not sure if you think I was hating on bho or something. Cus that wasnt the case, I was more or less making fun of what passes for bho in my parts. Shits barely purged

I agree with you. I was having the same problem, people making nasty BHO all around me. I just wanted to know if it could be done right, and if it was done right was it ethical.

Well damn, that soilgrown guy on ig is having no luck with fresh frozen... guess I should have figured the moisture would cause a problem. just sucks cus this would have been a nice quick fix to having nothing smokable

Right on guys, it DOES work, I'd like to try again because the first time I only used like .2g of a bud and got one small dab back, but my hand/wrist is killing me from some nerve problems so I won't be able to actually push the iron with pressure for a little while. Hoping anyone that makes some rosin is kind enough to share their experience :) I am pretty sure that my iron was too hot and I didn't do it properly ( my hand slipped off the iron a couple of times and it wasn't pressed with one motion so I'm sure that effected my outcome). Mine kind of tasted vaped or something, it did smell good though, but the taste just wasn't there. Next time I try to make it I will do things a little differently so I can get one clean press and I'm sure it will come out much better.

Natro, you're friend sounds like a mad scientist lol! But I guess that is how new ways to do things are created so more power to him 8-)

Soy is also a terpinoid co-solvent as a hexane alternative, but outclassed by oxygen compressed in teroinoid recovery. Fact is I use all co-solvents around from freon to ethane, ethanol to hexane, isobutane through acetone, dimethyl ether to nitrous oxide, more use of propane as its been dialed in and really nice stuff is made being backed up w carbon dioxide and raising the extract to higher psi levels is how legit corporation legally extract.

I happen to get enough hands on and find the supercritical fluids is facinating and accurate representation of matrices.

I made oil from bubble hash that was about 60% trash and 40% yields were common. True full melt was red in color w amazing hash taste. That was a people pleaser most complimented as the best dab ever.

Use a hair straightener the hair iron isn't the right shape, the straightener is two flat pieces of heated ceramic and it's easy to push together.

sounds like reclaim it vapes then recondenses on the wax paper.

That is where this needs to go. So you could take shitty bubble and rosin it and make it full melt. I'm sure the yields will be great and no ones likes that b grade bubble hash anyway!

I'll be sure to give it a try with bubble, I think I have some cooking hash somewhere. I've made some qwiso with ok hash before, came out ridiculously strong.. A little too strong lol. What about kief? I have a few grams of decent keif but it does have some particles in it. Maybe I'll try that in a few days.
