Does this scrog look ok? It is 6 days into 12&12. Should I be tucking anything in the picture ?

Thank you for your reply ! Do you have any pictures of your scrog’s from week 1 2 & 3 from 12 and 12 flip ? That you will be willing to share ?

You could weave the branches a bit more and flatten the canopy a bit. This picture following first branch weaving. This was 23 days before flip to 12/12. There was a little bit more branch weaving in those 23 days.

So I want it to all lay flat at the top of screen ? And the stretch in beginning of flower keep laying it flat ?

I find that scrog management is highly strain dependent. Some strains stretch a lot more than others, and require more tucking and less veg time. Some strains can be below the screen to flip to 12/12, while others need to veg well above the screen before flipping.

Not lay it flat. You want to weave the branches through the net - over one part of the net then under the next - until your net is nearly filled. Maintains a flat canopy. That is why I find that it's best to do most of the weaving while still in VEG mode so you can spread laterally and maximize the space before flipping.

Once I have woven and filled the net, that's when I flip to 12/12. So I don't weave anymore in 12/12 because I have very little room to weave.

As an example here are two plants in a 4x4 (LST, not SCROG) when the lights got flipped to 12/12:

OK ... that makes sense now. You are doing something like a top then manifolding and using a support trellis to hold the buds upright when they get big and fat and heavy. The first kick at it I manifolded and pulled close to 7 oz. But manifolding only used 60% of my available space.

SCROG provides the ability to grow an even canopy that you can spread out across the entire grow space. By going with a SCROG, I was able to double that yield growing the exact same strains in the exact same environment since I could use all 8 square feet. With everything else being identical, the past two SCROG grows let me pull 14.47 oz. and 12.62 oz.

They are great way to maximize your grow space.

Thank you so much ! I appreciate the tips a lot. I will post some pics tomorrow that will kinda show the change and what I’ve been doing to maintain a even canopy .

Also what’s the meaning behind starecase ?
I saw the name allofator which I believed to be a pun on elevator in a grow forum once

Yeah I ran scrog for a few years straight. I moved last year and had to restart my set up. I haven't rebuilt my screens yet because I've been focusing on finding two keeper strains to run. I have plenty of experience with scrog in the past and like I said timing is largely strain dependant. What works for your diesel might not work for a hindu kush or a blue dream.

I just am worried that if I tuck to far into flower I won’t get decent coals forming.

I feel like I’m running out of room. Should I be a bit tuff with them and pull them and bend them under the scrog line? Here are some pics
I did a tad bit of defoliation buts it’s seems to be crowded
Ahhhhh I’m so nervous to fuck this up !
