Second Grow 150w HPS

Thanks stoney, checked in on her this morning and the nutes seem to have finally initiated a good bit of growth. I'd say she grew bout a half inch since yesterday! Also, unfortunately I don't have enough for the GLH 180w right now and gonna need a light to continue to veg with real soon. Do you think I should go with the HSS or HTG light? The HTG one is a lot cheaper but that also concerns me a bit. Not too sure what the coverage would be in my low area either.

Thanks, it works for me and costs next to nothing to run. Plus there's plenty of room in the cab for me to expand over time. Pics of the clones below. Put the best 6 into 6" pots, the other two will stay in their cups for a couple more days. Got someone lined up to potentially take the other two, I'll try to get him to do a journal w/ them but doubt it'll happen.

Update Day 17 of 12/12

Not too much has changed, a bit more vertical growth but not much. Leaf tips now reach fully across the side, not too much space front to back either. Couple of the inner branches have started stretching upwards a bit more, but overall maybe 4" vertical growth since flipping the lights. The clones are doing well, they've got healthy new growth coming in and don't seem to be reaching for the lights too much.

Hey man! Yeah I feel like such a moron, I learned the hard way that you were right about postage. One stamp wasn't enough, resent it out this evening with correct postage. Sorry bout the long ass wait, really didn't mean to completely flake out on you. I just got the approval from my dr last week to get back on my bike now so I'm finally working again. Having to go 6 weeks with no paychecks blows, got one shift last weekend and hopefully my manager gets me back on a regular schedule this week.
 
Thanks, yeah the fracture is healed so it's back to life as usual now. I'm normally pretty active and being told to basically sit in the house and do nothing for that long was killing me. Yeah was kinda surprised bout needing two, but oh well, live and learn.

Thanks man, just had another ct scan yesterday, looks like probably another 3-4 months before all the swelling goes away and the blood gets broken down in my sinuses. Haha wouldn't say she's a monster man, probably smaller than most of yours were from last grow. This might me about the limit for what the little 150 can handle though, much bigger and the intensity falls off sharply to the sides.

Btw, did any of your friends end up growing out any of the seeds from before? I'm curious to see how they turn out in different environments.
 
Update:
Enough stretch has finally occurred that I was able to prune out some of the dead/old undergrowth. Cut a few shoots that were just big enough for me to attempt cloning them, but kinda doubt they'll take root. Even if they don't, I've got the 6 others in veg that I can cut from later if needed. Got an unexpected check the other day, so will be purchasing an LED this weekend! Think I'm gonna go with the HSS light, both because of my height restrictions and wanting to try something that not everyone is using. I still plan to get a Spectra 180 this fall/winter, but it's too far out of my budget for now unfortunately. I'll put up pics tomorrow, marking the end of week three.
 
Update: Day 24 of 12/12
So I didn't get around to pics last weekend obviously, took a few today though to mark progress. Couple of decent bud structures forming, hopefully they fill out nicely over time. Any thoughts at this point on whether I'll be able to pull 2+ oz from her?

I know it's still early but anyone want to estimate how many more weeks they think it'll be? The mother from this was 10 weeks but I screwed up a few things and used veg nutes the entire cycle so hoping things will be a bit quicker this time.

The ones in veg will be moved under the LED once it gets here. Got free shipping but not a clue how long that'll take haha. They seem to be okay under the CFLs for now though, not great but they aren't immediately dying or anything so not too worried. The new clones are in decent shape still, should be rooted by end of next week or early the week after.

Edit: He was the one with 8/10 germ rate w/ 6 females...
 
Good read through of the journal man. Was bummed out when I saw so many of them were males, but the cloning worked out ace and I'm excited for the rest of the story. I wanted to make the switch to LED too but didn't want to make the investment. Cheers and nice work on the LST, she is a beast.

That sucks, I finally got the other two clones to my friend so I'll at least get to see how they do under some high wattage CFLs.

Thanks for the kind words, yeah I'm hoping the LED is a good choice on my part. I'm really hoping she yields well, any guess how much I'll pull off her?
