Sorry if I offended you or anything Roseman, I hope you will still stop by from time to time because I have seen how great your advice has been and I know that I will need it.
Anyways, since I last posted a lot has happened. I managed to break one of my lights by dropping it
So I am using just the light that I have left, which happens to be the "grow" light I believe.
I also got a humidifier because my meter was reading the humidity level at nearly zero. With the humidifier on the humidity can easily reach 90% unless I have my exhaust fan running (which I plan on running 24/7 once I get a speed control wired in). With the exhaust on it sits around 45-60%.
Is there any problems that could be caused by the humidity level changing often?
Should I try to ensure a 50-60% humidity level more strictly?
I changed the whole tank the other day with fresh ph balanced water (as close to 6.0 as I could get it). In the morning I noticed the tank smelled a bit and there was some foam.
I think the foam was possibly from something in the container I used to change the water. It was brand new from Walmart and stupidly I didn't wash it beforehand.
Anyways, I re-changed the tank tonight, making sure to clean both the tank and the containers I used to change the water. I also cleaned the pump and that also could have been the cause of the smell because it smelled the strongest and the filter was a slight bit dirty.
I plan on giving them 1/4 dose of nutes sometime tomorrow to ween the smaller ones into feeding so they can kind of catch up. Are there any problems that you can see here?
