I add the langbeinite, azomite, and dolomite lime in the base mix along with dr earth 4-4-4, 3-9-4, ewc.
My sips hold 10-11g of soil, so if u run 5gal buckets cut it in 1/2. Go light on the langbenite, it's powerful stuff. I've topdressed with it in the mix, but only outdoors.
Langbenite 1tsp
Dolomite. 1/3 cup
Azomite. 1/3 cup
Ewc. 6. Cups
Dr earth 4-4-4 1 cup in the mix, 1 cup topdressed
Dr earth 3-9-4 1 1/2 cups in the mix 1 cup topdress
Perilite. %15
I reammend my sips after harvest, and keep about 1 gal of water in them to cook for 3 weeks while the previously amended sips run through.
It's a decent base mix. Too hot for sensitive plants, but a little leaf burn isn't the end of the world. Some research would say that the added stress leads to more resin production. That's what I tell myself anyways. Heavy feeders thrive in this mix. Light feeders test the pool with a tie, but they eventually jump in. Whether it's a swan dive or a belly flop is the question. But everyone makes it out of the pool with the hot tub life gaurd on duty.
