Hi everyone! This is my first ever grow, just trying to make it to completion and gain some experience! Feel free to comment as you please! I love knowledge and those who share it! <3

Thanks for the confidence! <3 Here are pics for the first couple of days.

These are 2x Royal Queen seeds, Royal Cheese Autos.

I started in paper towels, but I was careless and let them dry out overnight. So I transferred to 150ppm 5.5 PH soaked rapid rooters. Both survived!

Nutrient schedule I'm following for this grow included. Lights started at 36" up at 20% light intensity until week 2. I drop the lights to 28" at week 2, and dim them all the way. Anything more than dimmed on the seedlings starts to make them curl with these lights.

Watering with distilled water. Added nutes up to 150ppm. hand watered until roots popped out the bottom because air bubbles soaked the rooters.

Start of week 2. I'm using distilled water, and I forgot to supplement with calmag from the start. Changed out the res, added cal-mag this time around and upped to 400ppm.

Week 2, Day 6. Ice storm took out power for 3-4 hours. suspended the lids to keep the roots in the air. temps in room dropped to 60ish before power came back on.

RH ~45% Lights at 28" dimmed all the way down. PH 5.7-6.2ish. 60f to 73f over the day. Water temp: 77f normally.

RH ~43% Lights at 32" dimmed all the way down. PH 5.5-6.0ish. 71f . Water temp: 72f

Edges of leaves curling up. Some of the leaves are curling down on the new growth of plant with leaves turning light green.

Did a res change today. Monitoring plants for now. 250ppm of cal-mag. Then upped to 475ish ppm with nutes. Cal-Mag > Micro > gro > bloom > hydroguard

RH ~52% Lights at 32" dimmed all the way down. PH 6ish. 72f . Water temp: 73f

Week 3, Day 3.

RH ~43% Lights at 32" dimmed all the way down. PH both res dropped from around 6 to mid 5s during next 12 hrs. bumped ph back up to 6 70f . Water temp: 70f

Roots in both reservoirs are turning brown. Root rot? Any suggestions?

Having done some more research. GH trio stains roots, but they feel kinda slimy and a bunch of brown flecks are left on my finger, so i'm leaning towards root rot. Lids are letting light through, I'm going to tape them up with black gorilla glue tape. Water temps have been above 68 constantly, but I knew this before starting, so I bought hydroguard to help mitigate this, no root rot when temps were up to 78f. I'm snowed in, I went with hydroguard originally in hopes to avoid doing this part, but I will see if any water bottles around the house I can freeze to drop res temps more.

Since I rez changed the other day I used up all my distilled water. The ice storm hit, and my town goes full stupid and buys out all the water for a 3 day winter storm. My tap water comes out over 550ppm which is why I've been using distilled water. Worst comes to worst, I'll melt down snow as a clean source of water to do a rez change tomorrow in 12 inches of snow.

Gonna wait until tomorrow to see if it gets any worse.

RH ~65% Lights at 28" dimmed all the way down. PH: ~5.7 and ~6.0 65f. Water temp: 66f

Splashed roots with some of the water, bunch of brown stuff came off. Roots seem whiter. Idk what it was, but seems to be getting better.

RH ~65% Lights at 28" dimmed all the way down. PH: ~5.7 - ~6.0 lowest temp hit 57f in tent last night, back up to 67f now. Water temp: ~65f

Hiya, Week, 6, day 1 I think? been awhile since my last update! Life's been rough recently so haven't been keeping up to date on pics. Snapped some today.

This is 2 days into a new batch, brown shit all over my roots again. Upgraded from a 400 gph to 32w 910 gph pump, previous one was defective 4 outlets quit working and lost half the output power.

RH: 60% Lights at 18k-12k lux, on an 18/6 cycle. Water temps 66-71f. ppms(distilled water) 200-225 calmag, then i bring ppm up to 500-525. PH after to 5.8.
