That was some great use of hyperbole there but I'm not a troll. You nor no other person on this forum has the ability to project a false image of me so stop acting as if you have me figured out. The theory of evolution is not definitive to me, but I do see value in it for being the procedure for creationism. I'm a theist and I've maintained a neutral position so far. I don't ever put religion before science or say why its better. I guess you don't like what you read when I compare the two or point out the cons of science. Thats still no reason for you to be butt-hurt.
You did atleast throw some info my way. I was asking for it more out of frustation but what you presented me with did give me some clarification. When comparing science oriented beliefs along with the adherence to holy scriptures, it is clear to see that they both rely on the same thing. Faith.
ARGUMENT FROM FAITH EQUIVALENCY
(1) You have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow, don't you?
(2) See! Atheists have faith too!
(3) Therefore, belief in science is just another faith.
(4) Just like I have faith in God and Jesus.
(5) Therefore, God exists.
ARGUMENT FROM QUOTE MINING
(1) Here is an irrelevant quote by Carl Sagan that proves that science is wrong.
(2) [Atheist: Uhhh, that quote is a bit out of context. Actually, if you read the whole page from which the quote is taken, you'll see that—]
(3) Since science is wrong, creationism is true.
(4) Therefore, God exists.
ARGUMENT FROM UNTIDY THEORY OF EVOLUTION
(1) In attempting to unravel such a simple, straightforward matter as the evolution of life over the course of the last 2.7+ billion years, scientists have encountered certain difficulties and differences of opinion.
(2) Therefore the Theory of Evolution is a house of cards and creationism is self-evident.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
