Spider Farmer And 8 Main Colas Experiment (Mainlining/Manifolding)

Hate when I seen OP's wallet raped with those snakeoils but I suppose they're bought now and lesson soon will be learned.
Ah I beg to differ, also i pay whole sale money not retail it's not major difference but enough. I also find I don't deficiency problems and tick all the boxes I want in my end product. AN seem to just work well for me.

Also I might like being raped? Haha.

You have the happiest salesman in town!

I run CO2 old skool style. I have 6 x 2 ltr bottles half filled with tepid water 2 cups of suagr and a packet of yeast. Changed or topped up ever 7-10 days.

Unless you're sealed you'll always be fighting your extraction. I run my extraction as low as I can accounting humidity and temperature. Hence why I have lots of old skool bottles. Second to this is why I run oscillating fans as CO2 is heavier than the surrounding air and good air movement inside is key to avoid CO2 hot spots at the bottom of the tent.

Seems to work well. I'd love to invest in automated CO2 generators just cash flow is always apparent.

You’re feeding yeast sugar, & getting co2 (& alcohol) as a byproduct, right? Don’t you find that the yeast hit the wall @ 6-10% abv? Yeast don’t survive long in a high alcohol environment, & they produce alcohol as long as they live & feed. Or do you do a fresh batch of water & sugar semi-regularly? Drawing on a lifetime of beer brewing, here...

I too have the happiest salesman in town, though with GH possibly I’m not raped quite as brutally. Can’t speak for my fellow growers, but I continue to learn, & as I do, I’m sure I’ll make more informed nute decisions. If I don’t know the science behind a particular product, I don’t deny that I might feel its worth $34 to try something new.

Good point. For me, always depends on who’s doing the raping.

Yeah I swap them out every 7-10 days depending on how proactive I'm being. New yeast, new sugar new water. Sometime I might reuse the kick at the bottom to start making prison style hooch by no. Generally I shake up the bottles every day. If it puffs I know I have some form of CO2 if it doesn't I know the yeast is dead and requires changing. Hows that for brewing accuracy haha! Like I said old skool!

Hey, that’s all good. Love the “prison hooch” comment!

Ahh, nah I just find the complete line works for me. I've swapped bits for H+G or and tried things like the REMO range . I find it works ticks all boxes, doesn't cost me the earth as some people think. If it's not broke don't fix it.

I am and will do. Don't like the way I do things don't comment on my grow journal simple as that really. I wasn't asking for advice and the opening statement was for anybody interested. If it's not for you or you don't like it don't read it simple really.

Day 46 of flower.

So black sugar is looking rather nice and has firmed up. She's now as hard as rock. She's pulling hard now on the leaves as she's nearing her end. She's also super sticking and frosted well.

Green crack is doing well with good swelling but is a few weeks behind effectivly due to its longer flowering time.

Ayuhausca purple is super frosty and starting to harden up. All the undersides of the leaves are now a deep purple colour with very dark green leaves with a purple hue. She smells epic and the most insane amount of stickiness.

Blueberry is developing some nice frost with a very berry smell about her now. Good bud formation and a very heavy feeder now using approx 2 ltrs a day.

All plants minus green crack have had some defoliation to try and expose the lower growth sites and aid their maturity.

The addition of a dehumidifier has now been added (3 gal/24hr) and RH is now constant at 50%.

I've also now added temp probs to the fan speed controllers and set to 70F or 21C with the DIY AC unit being completed in the coming days.

I will assess the trichromes at day 49 on black sugar and upload pictures of there development. I will then make a decision to keep feeding for one more week or start feeding just plain water for 7 days before harvesting.

I will also photograph development of the triches on the remain 3 plants also.

Pictures attached are a bit crap but was rushing to get stuff done. Will post better pics shortly.

Mixing ratios at day 42+

10 LTR/2.6 us gal water
20ml Con A
20ml Con B
3ml Rhino Skin
8ml Plagron Bat Gauno
10ml B52
10ml Bud Candy
5ml Sensizyme
10ml Nirvana
10ml Bud Factor X
10ml Overdrive

Molasses has now been discontinued and freeded EC has now been offset by upping base nutes A+B in the exception for green crack which remains at 14.5ml Con A+B and remaining EC is replaced with Molasses at 8ml/10ltrs

EC is still at 2.0 and pH is still 5.5

You should try green planet 3 part! Or 2 part shits way better than AN conni. I only use certain things in the AN line. Rhino skin, bud candy. You should also use fulvic and humic acids and hygro beneficial bacteria you get a better yield and your plants will love you

I use AN bennies as I get them cheap same with the rest of the line to be honest. I've never tried green planet.

One thing I haven't tried however is prelonged use I use 2 weeks in veg and 2 weeks in flower. I normally keep them sustained via Bud Candy, additional molasses and B52 along with what ever benefits they get from root break down via Sensizyme. However never adverse to trying new products. Geographic location also limits things. Mainland Europe doesn't always have some of the brands you guys have in the states so I'll check it out. I would import certain things it's just I don't like customs bending me over to pay there fees... bullshit tax as I call it. Added to this shipping also adds an wanted expense.

I do sub rhino skin for HG ammino acid treatment depending on price at the time. I'm Jewish and we love saving money.......apparently haha .

looks like the green crack is having some problems. looks like too high of a feed. the power of 10 bottles

Ahh she perks up in the day. The burnt tips was an over feed youre right I tried an upping the EC as it's stems are alot bigger but turns out it didn't like it so dropped it again.

She'll be fine :bigjoint:

If your not living on the edge your taking up too much room

Day 52 of flower update.

Black sugar has now developed around 10% amber trichromes and have decided now to start to end her flowering cycle. A very nice pungent skunky smell has developed and a great amount of sticky resin.

She was fed 6ml of flawless finish in 6 litre of water or 1.5 us gal pH'd to 5.6. She will now have plain un pH'd water from here on out. I am aiming for 7 days of plain water done everyday around 1 LTR per day. I will then stop at days 6/7 and leave her dry out a 2-4 days before chopping her down.

Green crack is still swelling well with some good cola development in ways of calyax swelling and frosting up. Still furthest behind and can see another 3 weeks. The aromas of this plant I can quiet place, it smells strong somewhere between fruity and earthy. Very excited about this.

Purple ayuhausca is a thick dense sea of trichrome frost but needs to firm up a bit more. It's starting to draw on the leaves so a couple of weeks out. Extreme pungent smells with a very diesel/chemically type of odour from these, now with super glue style stickiness.

Blueberry is fattening up with good frosting and becoming denser by the day. A very nice fruity aroma is developing here. A good level of stickiness. Leaves also starting to be drawn on now so again prob 2-3 weeks away. Hoping to harvest with Ayahausca purple at the same time.

Due to unforseen problems I've had to come up with a new method of drying my plants. So I'm going to get another seperate tent and link it to my air control set up. Hopefully controlling odur, RH, airflow and temp all in one. Alot to ask from a DIY rig!

Will put some pictures of the black sugar up later.

Have heard that adding an aquarium air pump will produce more CO2 and less alcohol???
