Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me a good way to store hash for the very long term? I am talking years hopefully.
I am 53 years old, married with children, and will need to be discrete (thus no freezer).
Your ideas are welcome!
First of all, concealing an ounce of something shouldn't be all that difficult.
Just left at room temperature hash will lose potency, though slowly. If you keep it in an airtight jar, and don't break it up, it should retain most of its potency for at least a few years.
I wouldn't really consider that a "lifetime" supply, but that depends on how much you use.
In terms of hiding spots, I wouldn't entirely give up on the freezer:
-Create secret panel/opening/false bottom in freezer or hide within part of freezer not generally accessed (eg inside light bulb compartment, glued to underside of divider/drawer, onto shelf support arm, inside air duct/vent, etc). Be creative.
-Conceal stash within something else in freezer that nobody else would consider opening/eating (eg freezer thermometer, frozen spinach, etc).
-Get "personal" fridge/freezer for office; see above.
