Eventually if you can get or make seeds to play with I would experiment with topping.

It makes for very uniform plants due to the the fact that seedlings grow branches that are even like this.
Look at the lower branching.

As the plant matures the branches become offset.

I take my clones from mature plants.
So I don't have the opportunity to really shape them the way I like unless I bend.

Once the plants are larger I do whatever Method suites my need at the time.

To me topping is actually a fun part.
Trying to get that uniformity
Topping is fun and i did it with my fem and my plant in flower. But when I was bending the fem, that's when I thought about not topping no more.
And I'm glad you brought up the uneven nodes because I was thinking I was doing something wrong to get that. Thought they always stayed even. And I acuactua didn't top my clone either because yeah like you said they grow weird.

As these seedlings grew after they were shaped, I just watched and if certain branches were outgrowing the others I simply topped them which allowed the others to catch up.

I have not bent anything on these and Im not worried about yield.

But in the past I went the only bend route on my clones and did well too.

Just saying you might enjoy watching how topping affects growth.
Eventually
Ok, figured people just preferred topping just to slow down top growth. I do like how your plant look just from topping and no bending. You making me rethink the no topping thing and try no bending. Might just stick with both since that's what I been doing.

Ok so I have read that if you use tap water to water plants, you should let it sit for a day to get out the chlorine. However, I have read people using they water hose/sprinklers to water there plants.

So do your water hose in the backyard have less chlorine and is water straight from the tap ok to use?

Because I thought all your water in the house come from the same place.

It should and depending on what type of disinfection your municipality uses will dictate whether letting it sit a day will dissipate the chlorine. If they use chloramines they last quite a long time Free chlorine will dissipate faster.

So can you use water straight from the tap and it won't hurt the plant?

You need to get a water quality report from the people that treat your water if your on a city system odds are you’ll have to do something to it to make it ideal for the plants but it shouldn’t kill it either, people water landscaping all the time, just probably not optimum as is they have to give you that report upon request. If your on your own well different story you’ll have to have it analyzed for content but again it shouldn’t kill the plant it’s just probably not going to give you that killer result you want without some type of adjustment.

Didn't want to share this with yall because I know y'all gone be on my ass for how dumb I am for taking my plants outside.

But I am mad asf to report that I have spider mites:wall::wall::wall:

Don't see any spider mites moving around but do see, what I think are little white eggs under several fan leaves. :finger::finger:

I'm in the 8th week from flip. Should I ride it out for another week, or chop?

Plant still looks healthy besides the leaves with mite bites. And they still are perk up and don't look like they are dien just white spots all over.

All bullshit to the side, sincerely want y'all help on this problem. Can take a lil insult since y'all did warn me of this at the beginning but do need y'all humble opinion on this issue. Please and thank and very much appreciative of any response.

Some better pictures would help, they are a little fuzzy but I can see plenty of damage.
That looks severe from what I can tell.
I'm surprised you can't see them, By the level of damage they should be visible.
Any webbing?
Probably already have dead bugs in the buds.
You should be able to see them with the naked eye or with a magnifying glass.

Pretty late though.
If you smoke those buds bet they:

IDK! Only had them once over 10 years ago.
I'm curious also as to what someone does with Spider Weed at that stage.
I'm gonna have a smoke and follow.

I have fond memories of smoking it. Yes it will get you stoned.
Of course the quality of the spider weed will also depend on the overall number of other mistakes the grower made along the way.

Definitely don’t want to spray at this point. You can let it finish and smoke bugs or kill it with fire. I send my buds to the lab so I can’t let them stay if infested. But I’ve never had an issue with bug.

Think i might ride it out. Also read that earthworm casting can repel them and i added some on Monday. So might just wait to see if i see more. Addded a heater fan from veg room and blowing it directly on flowering plant. After this harvest, i will do some deep cleaning and scrubbing.
