I heard that genectic get weaker and the plant decrease in overall quality when clone from clone. For only a few time it's nothing noticible but if you plan to use this method for more then 15-10 times maybe it better to have a mother because after this point the plant that will result may look vary different.
Exactamundo, says Fonzie..... I agree, taking clone after clone is probably not good news. I take clones up to 2nd generation, and then start again from seed if I do not want to keep mothers. But, since my plant limit is good, I can afford to have 2 mothers, ensuring I have stable genetics going constantly in my garden.....Then, if I want to try new strains, I can, but keep most of my plants as the old reliable clones off proven mothers.
