The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Hey guys been doing a little reading and looking into getting some knock offs for my new space

I have a open hard room for flowering with a couple smaller tents for mothers and clone/veg
The main flower section is 4x12 nft trays. i have walk ways either side but i can put up some panda film to gain some reflection.
The room is sealed with co2 and new split sytem aircon

For the lights i was thinking fotop 800x4 with a hlg 600 power suply. 150watts per board with no heat sinks. X three

You think they would be able to do me up some kits with the 4 boards+ power supply and the other materials i need to put these together?

Yes they'll gladly work out a deal with you. Just send an inquiry on Alibaba. You might wanna look at getting smaller 288boards though as you could possibly get a decent price break for needing more. plus, you'll have a hard time warrantying anything from China so having more pieces of a less expensive board, might be smart, IF one crapped out and you needed to buy, say an atreum lighting board to replace one.

Regarding warranty from China I only have good experience with Mufue. In the batch of 50 boards I ordered there were 12 damaged during transport and they replaced them without any additional costs or questions. I even got them to send me a 320 sample board for shipping costs.

Is there any other driver setup i should consider to drive the boards harder?
I have a 1 ton split system to cool the room
We run FoTop boards at 150w each with no heatsink with about 5 inch spacing between boards. 750w total on 5 boards over a 4x7
Very happy with light levels and not very much heat coming out of the setup. The idea was to have a setup where you can dial in ppfd evenly by just lowering/raising the fixture. The setup gives decent light even at 100w each but then the coverage isnt quite 4' wide.
We found that spending a bit extra on boards per tray pays off handsomely.

I had a bad experience when i ordered one of my LED lights from china. The light is damaged during shipping, but the supplier didn't offer relative warranty service for me. It made me angry and I threw it into tash. Well, it is a cheap light.

Are the 301b worth the extra money vs the 561c boards?

Sounds golden. Id get my drivers from somewhere no china though, for no bullshit international warranty shipping. Digikey shouldnt be much more expensive. And they do free shipping.
Id frame them in 3 fixtures, linearly down your aisle. Then you can dial in your spread evenly. Or even play with semi side lighting. Or frame them all together with about 6 inches between them.
We went for a similar setup and used lm561c and really liked the result.

Chinese Disco Boards at 130 watts over a Paradise Seeds Sensi Star original clone and a Dark Horse Genetics Kings Banner from seed.

I've a bit of leaf damage on the Sensi Star original, it's either a slug or a moth, no biggy.
The Kings Banner

I want to see how the Sensi Star performs directly under the Discos as I know her inside out by now.
I'll also be putting in a JH cutting I got from a mate under the FOTOPs and another Sensi Star original under the Growgreen boards or vice versa lol Probably this week.
I've another 2 Kings Banner seed plants and a Sensi Star original clone that need moved to the Scope 240 tent for a early flowering.
It's like a conveyor belt ffs!
Enjoy :bigjoint:

Not much action on this thread lately. Personally ive been unable to logon for a few weeks.
Anyways; got another shippmemt from our lovely Rita, she managed to push it thru before their new year.
5 x fotop lm561c 3000k
1 x fotop V2, lm301b with extra red diodes (trying this one out)
16 x 312 qbs, at 36V. 3000k, 10 x80 cri and 6 x 90cri.

This time we will fit the fotops 3 per tray and mounting them linearly down the aisle as we havent have good coverage on the sides using fotops across the aisle.

The smaller boards will go up on 4 foot alu sheets and go across the aisle. 4 in a row across. The idea is to power the boards down the aisle so all of the boards in the sides are on the same driver to dial in perfect even coverage.

Also, were going to try the whole enhanced spectrum thing. Picking up some strips from cutter, they got so e very cool stuff. Getting some deepred/far red strips, some 2000k strips with extra uv, a whole load of infra red as the led grow wont hold a good temp with the weather outside. Oh, and some blurple phosphor boards and some of their new high power 5050 strips.
Not too sure how much it will change. The first batch of leds we threw up we used 3 different spectrums (2700k, 3000k, highcri Vesta strips) and we couldnt really see any difference beteeen spectrums. What did differ? The trays we almost covered by soft driven boards were clearly better and faster finishers. So we will do one more stab at spectrum and if it doesnt give any major change we will stick to 3000k 80cri.

Hope yer all well.
