Meanwell doesn't make a 650 watt driver (in the HLG line anyway.) Maybe Inventronics does?
My guess is that it's marketing BS.

These come with the Inventronics driver. And they are a true 650w out the wall.

Wow, did you ask them for a quotation about that?
When I look at their site on Alibaba they charge the same for shipping to the US and the UK.
Even slightly cheaper to the UK if it gets shipped from Hong Kong to the UK.
$ 186.47 to UK instead of $ 195.83 to the US.

It isn't THAT much cheaper it cost me about half the price of the A8 by the time it got to my door for shipping.

I edited my post while you replied.
I looked at their shipping prices and there seems to be almost no difference in shipping costs between the UK and the USA.
Perhaps there is a difference in local taxes.

Could be. Shipping was that plus another 140 CAD to UPS or they wouldn't have dropped it off. Dunno why they wait that long to charge you it was already in Canada. And as far as I know we don't have places to pick stuff up from UPS here yet.

UPS is shyte tho they were supposed to leave it with someone and get a signature and they just left it on my front step when i was at work. Had to drive 82km here grab it and back to work...

Grabbed 2 of the meijiu 650w A8 bars. Where can I get a longer extension for the cord they provide?? I need either the driver to the unit or the driver to the outlet cord to be about 15-20 ft long.

You should be able to splice in a new section using an extension cord as a donor piece.
